Because it made me smile Space Ghost for the nostalgia win.

Batman Brave and Bold is an homage to old timey Batman-for-kids of several decades ago. It's where the campy TV series came from. And really odd crossovers were a staple of the genre. Need I remind you of Scooby Doo meets Batman and Robin?

Batman meets Space Ghost is tame in comparison.

I'd love to see Batman as a guest of Space Ghost Coast to Coast and go head to head with Zorak.

How about Batman and Robin thwarting the nefarious villain Sweettooth's scheme to turn Gotham City's water supply into chocolate syrup? Filmation's New Adventures of Batman was not exactly one of the high points in the Caped Crusader's television career.

Behold the terrifying face of cavity-causing villainy!

You mean the masters of the space-time continuum?

Bubblegum Tate: Sweet Clyde, laugh derisively at him!

They were also super heroes themselves.

Multiman - Hubert "geese" Ausbie - Power of cloning

Sphereman or Super Sphere - Freddie "Curly" Neal - Power of turning into a basketball

GizmoMan - Louis "Sweet Lou" Dunbar - Power of hiding a lot of gadgets in his afro

Spaghettiman - James "twiggy" Sanders - Power of turning into spaghetti (also deathly afraid of Italian restaraunts)

Liquidman - Nate Branch - Power of turning himself into a puddle of water. He also spelled Liquid with an "F". Damn inner city school education.

I recall an episode of Static Shock featuring a tech-based superhero team populated by pro basketball players.

No George Lowe as Space Ghost = FTMFL! There can only be one, and it's George.

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

I suspect the OP may not be aware that Space Ghost started out in the '60s as a straightforward adventure cartoon, before being resurrected as the tongue-in-cheek talk show version. Personally, I like both versions, but it was a blast seeing old-school SG in action again on Brave & Bold.

Gary Owens was the original 60's voice of Space Ghost and it's his voice in this episode.

Brave and the Bold is incredibly dorky, but that's the point, it's fun.

My fav episode is still the one where bruce fights alongside his dad at a costume ball (and his dad is voiced by Adam West).
