Which movies are old standbys for your viewing pleasure?

I find that the following work for me...

The Matrix (1&2...3 not so much)

Hitman

Batman Begins and Dark Knight

Iron Man 1&2

Total Recall

Constantine....

I have more that I watch but not as much as those.....what say you?

Also dont be ashamed of what you watch! Be proud of it! If it tickles your fancy than so be it. I am sure that a couple of the flicks I have are not that well regarded.

Talsor Tech - Talsorian Guard

Its odd but there are some movies you can watch again and again. They are not always your favourites either. There's something about Sky High that makes it fall into that category. Its silly and cheesey but I find it very watchable.

However favourite movies that I can watch add infinitum include:

Spiderman 1
Ironman 1
The Incredibles

And when Capt America comes out on disc I expect that will get added to the list.

This is a song about a super hero named Tony. Its called Tony's theme.

I like this topic.

The Day after Tomorrow. The storm sounds make me sleep.

Batman Begins. Just a great movie.

Van Helsing. It is one of the only truly cheesy movies that I like.

Signs. I find it relaxing.

The Last Samurai. I love this movie.

Justice League New Frontier. Not a good as the comic, but still really good.

The Incredibles. One of the best super hero movies ever made imo.

Smallville (any). My wife is a fan. :/

New Star Trek. Movie made of pure awesome.

I actually have a big list for this, but to name a few...

Transformers: The Animated Movie
The Crow
Kick-***
Matrix (1, 2 and 3 as I tend to like to fastword to all the fight scenes on 3)
The Pirate Movie (<_< 80's movie that's just fun to watch)

...plus many many more.

Does this include pron? If not my list just got a lot shorter...

Matrix 1-3
National Treasure 1 & 2
Scott Pilgrim
South Park(movie)
Death Race (new one)
Any Star Wars even the new crap
Star Trek (new)
Transformers (apparently, after realizing I watched it about 4 times in the past week)
Brazil

It''s weird, I have a lot more and can't think of them. Most I don't even consider that great. They almost make my mind shut off and trap me on the couch unable to move and force me to watch them...

Dozens of viewings:

SWAT
The 13th Warrior
Sky High

Double Digits:

Spaceballs
Star Trek
Die Hard
Doom
We Were Soldiers
The Incredibles
Dark City
Commando

They ALL float down here. When you're down here with us, you'll float too!

Sky High (yeah, me too)
The Crow
The Matrix
Blade
Mystery Men
Dark City
Scott Pilgrim vs the World
Equilibrium
The Incredibles
Demolition Man
Running Man

Probably tons more that I can't think of at the moment. And I've seen each of these movies probably somewhere in the triple digits. The reason for that is a lot of the time I'll keep the tv on in the background and if I'm channel surfing for something to watch and I see one of these listed I'll stop right there. I may ignore most of the movie while I'm reading or doing this for example but the moment one of my favorite scenes comes on I'll stop and watch. And since the movie channels tend to show the same movies over and over again for a couple months that leads to a lot of repeat viewings.

The Lion King (there was a time when I could recite every line and song from memory)

Big Trouble in Little China
Mortal Kombat

Nice pick with Demolition Man. That movie has great rewatchability imo. Others that I can watch essentially any time include:
The Matrix (1 only. The sequels were tremenous failures comparatively.)
Big Trouble in Little China
Pulp Fiction
The Road Warrior
The Empire Strikes Back
Hellboy 2
Spiderman 2
Spirited Away (and most others by Hiyao Miyazaki.)
The Incredibles
Anything by Brad Bird or Zhang Yimou (especially House of Flying Daggers)
Moulin Rouge
Pirates of Penzance (the Kevin Kline, Linda Ronstadt version)
Could easil come up with another 20.

I just dont know what it is about the 3rd Matrix flick that just doesnt do much for me. The 2nd Matrix flick I fast forward through the cave dancing thing.....I feel that this is just a waste of time and really shouldnt be in the movie in the first place. just my opinion....

Agreed. After we came back from first watching it in the theater and posting our impressions on various forums we were on at the time, my fiancee and I both agreed the rave/ cave dance was way too long and distracted from the story.

Back on topic:

The Matrix
Star Wars IV, V, VI
Equilibrium
Mystery Men
Sky High
Push
Big Trouble in Little China
Army of Darkness
Casablanca
V For Vendetta
Die Hard
The Nightmare Before Christmas
The Crow
The Long Kiss Goodnight

The Matrix 2 is pretty lame but does have the best live action mech combat sequences I've yet seen in a movie.
