Two from Dexter:
Collin Hanks as Travis, and John Lithgow as Trinity, even though John played a very similair role in the film, Ricochet it wasn't nearly as creepy as Trinity was. -
Quote:Glenn being a pizza delivery guy reminds me of the whole Castiel bit from Supernatural "I learned that from the pizza man."Especially one as cute as Maggie? Glenn just doesn't strike me as the ladies' man prior to the ZA; we already know he was a pizza delivery guy, and they aren't generally rolling in the dough, so to speak.
You gotta give him props though; he was making solo trips into Atlanta. That takes some courage, to keep going back to a zombie wasteland.
"Hey Glenn, you just survived a zombie apocalypse; what are you going to do now?"
"I'm going back in!"
And as a somewhat local, I can assure you that there are some parts of Atlanta that look, and probably are, safer after the Zombie Apocalypse than they did before hand.
And is it just me, or does that woman in the article Attercap posted look like Eddie Furlong? -
Quote:No doubt about that, I can see shades of Hudson Hawk and Joe Hallenbeck in the scene.Yup, though it's not THAT much of a stretch as David Addison was quite badass when necessary... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5uAnQPEew4

Bruce Willis in "Die Hard"
I remember seeing trailers for the film a few months before it launched and people in the theater laughing at the thought of Bruce Willis, known only for "Moonlighting" and "Blind Date" at the time, being an action hero. -
"Now let's see how our studio audience voted!"

Quote:Someone else on the forums got an error saying their drivers dated back to May of 1970.Hi Medi.
Looks like the graphics drivers could be corrupted. That date can't be correct
Last night I got an email dated 12-31-1969.
I think a lot of the date-stamp errors popping up lately were because of the time change, because I didn't see them before then. -
Try switching to your alternate build and see if you can rework it from there?
Also, contact support via https://help.ncsoft.com/
The in-game GMs can do little to nothing to help with something like this. The actual support team may be able to figure out what's going on. -
One thing I see is that you don't have the prereqs for Weave and Burnout.
You need at least 2 powers in those Power Pools before selecting those powers. -
I haven't had a chance to watch it in the last couple of weeks, but the first 6 or so were hilarious.
I didn't even realize the one UTF member was Alex from Lost until that last episode I watched. -
Quote:Yes, yes there is.I'm sure there is much more to relish than just pickled cucumbers. Isn't there?
And there are dozens of types of relish. But the type I'm referring to is relish made from sweet pickles. Dill relish is okay, just not a fan of sweet pickles.
And I just had two chili cheese dogs! Yummy! -
I like pickles, I've just never been a fan of relish.
And you haven't lived until you've had a scrambledog from Dinglewood Pharmacy in Columbus, GA. Too bad they're closed now, or were the last time I was down there. -
Just to point out, because I love Big Bang Theory, is that it's not a CoV poster, it's an actual cardboard standup.
Also, I noticed that since Leonard and Sheldon bought Ned's sword ie, "I can eat meat this week" aka "the episode with Trinity's daugher in it" if you watch Dexter you can see it hanging on the right side of the door to their apartment (your right on the screen).
And while I'm not like any of the guys in the show, I can relate to all of them in some way or the other. -
Quote:So, I'm going to get a lot of hate for this but, it's way too easy. Not only is He fey, he is, according to Supernatural lore, a ghost as well.Addendum:
Judges 1: 19 -
And the lord was with Judah; and he drave out the inhabitants of the mountain; but could not drive out the inhabitants of the valley, because they had chariots of iron.
Iron vulnerability? He's not just magic, he's a fey creature.

That is an awesome idea, Steelclaw.
But I think there should be an option for those infected to be able to play their zombiefied character until the other PCs kill them, or they survive until the military shows up.
Maybe surviving could give their next character some sort of bonus. -
Quote:Great points! I didn't think of that, but now that I see it wrote out, I see the idea behind it being a good idea.I think the Dev's wanted the forums to be a place where relatively new players could go for help.
Before Build Workshop was introduced, the MM forums was filled w/ (Bots, Thugs, Demons)/(Traps, FF) build advice... I'd even seen a few repeat builds.
Since Build Workshop, there are still a few builds here and there, but general questions and opinion threads are staying on the front page for longer now.
I think the devs were thinking: "New players should go to the Dominator forum and see questions about how certain procs work in certain powers, and not 'ZOMG soft-cap my perma-dom Fire/Psi'...", e.g
I'd still rather honestly see the Build Workshop idea being put toward each individual AT rather than being lumped into one sub-forum though. -
Quote:Yep, it was the Babes. And they were (are) a great group of people. It was just, as was said by ThePill above, that usually the people who win are looking for costumes just like they are wearing themselves. This is so true.
I've been away for a year, but when I played before, I was in The Babes of War on Freedom, and we had a CC every Saturday night, as you said, sometimes two CC's and we usually rotated the judging. As you said, it's all subjective. Invariably, we'd judge a CC and immediately get "What? That's the worst costume ever!" or "How in the world did THAT costume win?" or "What are these judges thinking?". As you say, people tend to think they are the greatest costume designers the game has ever seen, and when you burst their bubble, it can get pretty ugly. Like the song says, "You can't please everyone, so you've got to please yourself". This is what we did with the CC's. We chose a new judge every time so that eventually everyone got to see their favorite costume types win. It cut way down on the arguing in the SG over whose was better, since, as you say, it is SO subjective.
I made a peacebringer once. I did the typical "Fashion Model Gorgeous, Great Body, Big Breasts, Long Legs, Lingerie, White Wings, modern-day Angel look" and named her Let Them Not Weep (after Heather Nova's cover of "Gloomy Sunday"). She had dark skin and white hair for contrast, and in my eyes, it made her look even more exotic and beautiful.
Upon being announced as a finalist in a costume contest, which turned out to be fake, (a whole other can of worms altogether,) I was immediately bombarded with /local and /broadcast chat of things like "let them not suck" and other lack of wit responses. Of course, most of those were the typical looks of schoogirl, magician's assistant/ Vegas showgirl, or the ever popular tight leather. -
This makes me miss the old days of the buzzsaw DM/SR.
I had so much fun leveling Imm back then. Especially in the mid 30's when it all came together.

I'm trying to figure out how you got a Flux Capacitor to fit in your tower.
Is it connected to a Mr. Fusion? -

Quote:This is so wrong that it's laughable.Welcome to City of Heroes. City of Heroes is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game. As such, most of the newer content is designed for multiple teams. And I, for one, say it's about time. If you do not like teaming, perhaps a MMOG is not best suited for you.
"Massive Multiplayer" does not equate teaming. It means that I'm online playing and you're online playing, it does NOT mean that people have to join up to get things done.
Yes, things can be easier in a team, but requiring teaming is the antithesis of any game company that wants to make money. Some of us don't like teaming. Some of us only want to play when our friends are on. Some of work weird schedules and are only on when no one else is.
I work with the public 40+ hours a week, on the weekends. I get off work at 7am EST/EDT. After dealing with those people all night, the last thing I want to do is deal with more people, especially in something I'm paying for that I want to enjoy.
I respect and enjoy reading your opinions, Celestial Lord, but this comment is way off base in thinking MMO= team. MMORPG just means, there's a bunch of people online. I it does not mean "Team or lose!"
Solo comics sell as good, if not better than group comics. Why? Because solo heroes have just as much fun, if not more, than groups.
That's why Spiderman can team up with The Avengers for a few issues, yet still go back to being Spidey. Because teaming does not always mean fun.
