Hot Dog! Temp Powers Now Stack

I noticed while crafting this evening that you no longer get the message, 'You already have this power', when attempting to craft a temporary power like the St. Louis Slammer.

Instead, you get extra charges when you craft it.

I don't remember seeing this in any patch notes, but it's been something I've been wanting for a while.

Could be a bug, or only working for certain temps that are deemed not too strong. Works for the St Louis Slammer but not for the Envenomed Dagger, Resuscitator, Recovery Serum or Power Analyzer MKIII.

While this is good news, I was disappointed that you weren't announcing a new Hot Dog temp power.

Agreed. This is excellent especially since I use these as "added flavor" for my various characters but would like to use them more regularly in combat. 100+ charges on that revolver? No worries about firing a round now and then!

Wow. I'm going to have to test this on Recovery Serum when I get home tonight. Because being able to load up lots of those will be a big help with some of my characters.

Anyone check Plasmatic Taser? I got like 14 of those in my recipe inventory right now.

But yeah... no hot dogs? This thread failed to deliver.

Just back from WW and crafting....nothing stacked for me..same message as always "you already own this power." I tried this with plas taser, stun gren, hand gren, env dag.......

  • St. Louis Slammer (30 uses per recipe... I got it up to 240 charges)


No Stacking:
  • Envenomed Dagger
  • Resuscitator
  • Recovery Serum
  • Power Analyzer MKIII
  • Ethereal Shift
  • Plasmatic Taser
  • Stun Grenade
  • Smoke Flash
  • Revolver
  • Med Pack
  • Kinetic Dampener
  • Hand Grenades
  • Gabriel's Hammer
  • Backup Radio

So, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say they allowed the Slammer to stack because they're selling it at the Store. No change for the other temp powers. Someone's going to have to buy several Zombie Survival packs and tell us if the Holy Shotgun now stacks.

(Although, Steam Jump and Jump Pack stack their time, which was a nice surprise.)

I thought that is how it has always worked since Steam Jump was added to the game, but I'm not certain.
