I would assume you would be credited by badge 2 months, and then get the third on the day you were supposed to get it before - Tried to make sense here sorry if I did not.

I haven't read anything past the announcement but...

My two influence...


I don't like that all the events are on the Exalted server...unless you're saying that the new VIP only server is the only server we'll be on during the head-start.

If you stay ViP you get a reward token 2 days after the Head Start goes live. You get your reward on the same day you would have gotten it anyway.

Well there are a few on other servers too, it looks like, but I'd imagine that since this is a VIP-only head start, they figger, they can do it on the VIP server and everyone will be welcome.

Let's say September 14th is your two year anniversary of playing the game. In that case, on the 13th, you'll get:
~7 tokens in compensation for vet rewards.

Possible, but that's not how I'm reading it. Which is why I'd like clarification, if we can get it. Misinterpretation and unclear announcement phrasing have caused problems before now.

What if we used Game Time Cards to play? My account will be active until the end of January due to the GT Cards, but under Subscription it says "none." Am I still considered a subscriber? >_>

I'm talking about the "random giveaways" that the devs will do to the random people on the Exalted servers...not the actual invasions (have the badges...so no real need to be there ).

Yes I could make a toon on the Exalted server but then I'd be not as productive as I could be by lvl'ing my 'real toons' on Liberty or badging with my main, etc....

*shrugs*

I can see why they're doing it (to get people on the VIP server so it's not just an empty server) but I just don't like it

Oh? I was under the impression that the monthly anniversary date was still unique by player. In that case, yeah, sucks for people on the 14th (or a few days later on, say, the 23rd, like me...).

That's actually a good point. I was thinking more generally, i.e. each player would receive a token for sub time from September to October. Regardless, clarification would still be ideal so we're not left wondering.

Edit:

If monthly tokens are awarded on each billing date after Freedom launches and your vet reward date is the same as your billing date, then it may simply be a situation of everyone losing some degree of reward credit.

If your monthly date is right after launch, you might lose credit for the paid time past your last vet reward, but would receive the new monthly token almost immediately for your next month. If your monthly date is right before launch, you would be able to collect that vet reward and thus the token for it, but you'd effectively be losing credit for the (almost) month between launch and your next billing date.

Either way, it's to be hoped that a single token one way or the other won't kill anyone, although history tells us it may be possible to die of apoplexy.

Throwing my hat in with the folks who don't like Exalted getting all the special events. I can't afford (nor do I want) to transfer my characters off Pinnacle, please don't kill the non-VIP servers.

There's a $6 sale for SIX(!!!) transfers, plus VIPs get one free transfer per month.

Or you can create a throwaway character on Exalted to participate, because the badge is account-wide.

If you use Game Time Cards and your account will be active on September 13, you will be able to participate in the VIP Head Start. Please be sure to check the NCsoft Master Account page to verify that your Game Time Cards appear under your billing section.
