Awesome? Awesome.

Also, why does it burn when I pee?

lol nice. As long as it has more action and less terrible puns I'll be fine with it.

Well, here's hoping it's better than the first one.

Looks less family friendly than the first. Wonder if he will join the Avengers?

HA HA! I joke.

Not sure how fond I am of Cage coming back for it but hey. The first one wasn't TOTALLY bad.

The last line of the trailer was hilarious though.

Looks a million times better than the first one. Are those the directors from Gamer? If so I like them a lot. That movie was meh but the things they do to MAKE a movie are beyond impressive, like the camera man on rollerblades during chase scenes... Awesome!

Yeah, not really liking Nick Cage returning. I'm sure the budget for this one was lower than the first, yet the Rider looks better; not sure if it's because CGI has moved forward that much or if they went with a different effects studio or they just modified the style to look a little better on film.

I'm not a big fan of Cage as Johnny Blaze, but I do have to admit I enjoy his action movies..as bad as they can be. As for The ghost rider films I would say the downfall of the first one was not Cage's performance but the lackluster fight scenes, and cheesey comments made throughout.

This one shows promise from the trailer. GR showing hints of being Zarathos *I hope* instead of a facet of Blaze's personality. That's something that was never really touched on.. and did I see Blackout in there?!

It looks like he's not channeling Elvis in this one.

I enjoyed the first one, but it does look like this one will be better on the action and Ghost Rider looks better as well.

Ahyup.

Is it just me or did they forget to paste Cage's JB hairpiece on for this movie..
other then that it'll be passable popcorn munching entertainment.

Let's see how they explain his lack of comb-over/toupee.

That really wouldn't take a lot. The first one wasn't all that good. I've admittedly seen far worse movies than the first one, but that's hardly glowing praise.

definitely looks like its worth a watch... as long as there is more action - I will dig it.

My problems with the first one were: How bad Ghost Rider looked and the plot. I actually found Cage to be the most entertaining part of the movie.

They fixed the Ghost Rider issue so let's hope they did the same with the story and it's a winner to me.

That looks like a blast. The last image made me laugh out loud. And by the guys who made Crank and Crank 2? Sold.

I still say Marvel should team up Ghost Rider, Blade, Moon Knight and Morbius as their Adult Avengers.

Also, if you want to see what an awesome Ghost Rider movie would look like, watch Drive Angry. That flick is simply bad-*** supernatural demonic fun. William Fitchner is crazy awesome.

I'm sure Wesley Snipes would welcome the work.

Same.

I don't actually understand the fan love for Johnny Blaze. He never really had any personality to love in the comics. Most comics he's limited to a few panels or a page, and several Ghost Rider books he doesn't even show up at all. Anyone could have played him, so I never minded that Cage wanted to do it.

Don't know if i'll pay opening night prices but i'll see it in the theaters.

It's just that Cage seems to rely on two modes for his acting, the soft, sounds-like-someone-who-just-came-through-a-near-herion-overdose, voice. Or his YELLING 'CAUSE I'M CRAZY voice.

Otherwise, his acting seems to fall flat and lines that would do well to be given some weight to them, like some in the beginning of the trailer, end up sounding dull.

Also, the original GR is on my worst comic book films list. Heck, it probably makes my worst films I've seen list. The writing was simply atrocious, acting sub-standard, and plot even for an origin film, pathetic.

I just don't hold out much hope for GR2, or any Marvel film not done by Marvel studios, even if their two last films have been just, ok.

This.

Also, Cage has said that he had a vision when he was younger that he would one day play Ghost Rider. A VISION, PEOPLE.

As long as it's Nic Cage being Nic Cage while on fire, and the Crank guys keep their normal directorial style, this should be fun.

Considering the financial straits both Snipes and Cage are in right now, I'd say they won't be turning down very much for a while.
