Honestly, this isn't even fair to those who don't have Facebook/those who don't want to get caught up in it.
It should be available to everyone in my honest opinion.

So literally make a Facebook page for one of your characters in all honesty, with all personal information tied to it rather than yourself. I can't see how that could be interpreted as a violation of Facebook policy, given they explicitly promote such usage.

For extra paranoia, go to Account -> Privacy Settings and click on "Friends Only", then never friend anyone. People won't be allowed to see even your blank profile.

Hmm. I was able to add one to one account, but not to the other via another FB account - it just keeps saying the code has been used (and it is a different code).

Bah, the FB page doesn't like me. My wife sitting right next to me got hers, but I'm getting the timeout error over and over.

I am amazed at the amount of people that complain about FREE stuff. I am unsure what would satisfy some of the people whining here, do you want them to bring you a code to your door step? Quick marketing scam? Did you folks not read, "FACEBOOK PROMOTION"? Just too much to handle.
Regardless, I've applied my code. Love it, I'm so happy this was implemented regardless of how it was. AND, to be particular, I LIKE that it was implemented this way. Something special for a handful of special people that keep up to date with City of Heroes.
Support your game, don't just play it.

Given that I work 12 hour work days, I'm not fond of contests to get things because I'm often WAY too late to get a shot at them. Again, I don't mind there being contests that give them out first, just so long as I can get them later.

FF3.5, FF5, both IE9 32 and 64-bit, and even tried on android 2.2. Is it safe to assume all the codes are gone?

For everyone who is having trouble viewing the site: Make sure you temporarily disable "Secure Browsing" under Account Settings --> Security. I couldn't view it until I did that.
If you have "Secure Browsing" enabled, your web address will start with "https..." instead of just "http"

I just now saw this and figured it'd be to late to grab one since it's going on 1am. I was about to check my FB page anyways so I went ahead and checked out the page.
I was quite shocked when I actually got a code and it worked!!
I wasn't that worried about it since I figured worst case scenario I'd be able to buy it down the road from the store but still, thanks for the perk!!

Yeah, maybe I would have been able to apply this code in time...
... except when I tried to log into my NCSoft master account, I ran afoul of your authentication system and some incorrectly formated challenge questions from 7 years ago.
Guess I should have cleared that up with support back when you implemented this system and saw all the forum posts complaining about it.
Gratz to all those who were able to apply the code and got the emote.
