Muh hahahha I got the Facepalm Emote, Now no one can stop Me Muh hahhahahha!!

You have a perfectly good forum, and in game events where these could have been handed out. EDIT - Thanks to all who gave the idea of creating a fake account in the name of one of my toons (and a fake email account too). I know have a code. And I feel less dirty than I end up feeling at the end of a Friday night. |
This is a easy Code give always, you go to Promotion and boom the Code pop up and add it too you Account, it not like the code is being showed to the whole World on facebook.
I am Sure there be other Contest for you guys in game and on the forums, I mean they do give use more then one chance too earn these thing.
I no they did the same thing with the Booster pack codes, like on the test server give alway and other give always on the forums, just keep your Eyes open.

I'd love the emote, but I just got rid of my Facebook account.
Cut down on the amount of (mostly adult) spam I got by about 75% when the change finally went through. Just coincidence, I'm sure.

Hey, again, I logged in and didn't see the emotes in the quickchat emote list... It's been mentioned by others that they are there.
Color me confused...
If anyone can tell me where they are listed, I will gladly do a facepalm in response to my inability to have figured that out myself.
I really did look through the entire list and every submenu in my quickchat menu though, so I'm not sure what the deal is here.

For those without Facebook accounts but want the facepalm emote, be patient. I don't have a Facebook account either, and would also like the facepalm emote. About the only thing that would make me sign up for a Facebook account is if the Lord Jesus Christ Himself came down from Heaven and commanded me to. However, I'm quite sure that codes will become available for purchase on eBay shortly, just like the various costume card codes from conventions over the years. Check eBay in a day or two.

As for all the people screaming 'I Won't use facebook'. I don't either. I made one for my main Alt.. Which who cares if FB considers it a violation of ToS? The worst they can do is ban the false account, and you still have a serial code?
Also, it said that they will be released at a later date for those that don't get them, and I'm almost certain it'll be in a store or be a free reward eventually. The Devs are just doing this so more people see players' with City of Heroes linked in their FB page(which means more people looking at City of Heroes, and thus a chance at more player revenue), etc. etc. It's not a reward, it's a promotion.

Anyway got my facepalm emote. Pretty spiffy. Useful is useful.

You can always go back and re-enable "Secure browsing" after you've gotten your game code.
