I had sort of resigned myself to not making a titanic weapons guy. But the staff rekindles interest.

I think a staff/fire brute could just be fun, so I can get my Wizard action on. "You shall not pass."

Or maybe staff/sr for the martial monk.

I think posting pics from the article is against forum rules unless someone from the CoH community team wants to clarify this.

I take it this is the US version of PC Gamer. Nertz. No way us brits are getting our hands on that. I'll have to use my imagination, I guess...

Would be nice if one of the community guys could share these pictures because...as mentioned...that's the US edition of PC Gamer, not the UK edition so some of us can't even buy the magazine just to see the pictures.

I get why they've done it, by PC gamer having the exclusive to show those pictures it's suppose to encourage we gamers to go out and buy the magazine. Essentially Paragon Studios pay the magazine company to include those pictures with the promise that it will 'boost sales' for the magazine because the CoH community can't see them anywhere else.

I personally think such a practice sucks monkey [censored], atleast with putting up pictures/interviews etc. on Massively everybody can see them.

You won't. It's purposely exclusive to a real-life, made-from-trees magazine. It's not web content at all.

I know it's against the law since it's copyrighted. Therefore, it's against forum rules since forum rules says, 'no breaking laws on the forums.'

Ummm.. if you get why they've done it, they you should get why they won't be putting this info on the forums (or facebook) for a while. By granting exclusive scoops to certain publications, they ensure that said publication will publish stuff about CoH and give the game free publicity in the meantime. The publication gets an exclusive and prestige and more sales out of it.

This info will eventually be on the forums before I21 goes Live. But for now, it's an exclusive found in only one place. Purposely so as a previously stated policy by the OCRs.

Well that should help the game get some new players that feel burned by the other hero mmos

Like I said, I get why they've done it...doesn't mean I have to like it, as I said, it screws over UK/Europe people. We can't even BUY the damn thing, I wouldn't mind if both the US and UK version had that but if it doesn't...then well there's sweet bugger all us EU peeps can do to see the pictures.

Well apart from going to a certain other city of heroes fan forum that would allow scans to put up.

Maybe it should be known that it's not actual in-game pics, but a piece of concept art for the Rocket Board, Gunslinger costume, and Player Circle of Thorns Costume.

Man, I just hope we finally get a wizard hat. After years, the Katie Hannon TF, and the Magic Pack, we had better get one. You know what I'm talking about it, the guy in my avatar wears one. Go watch the Lord of the Rings movies if you haven't already, silly.

PCGamer use to be a rebal game magazine. They did not care about making anyone happy but the fans. They did there review and to hell with the Companies that made the game, and the review was usally right on. A few years back they went to a solicit magazine, another wise they get payed by the Companies get there review into there magazine.

For these reasons and because of the last real post I read from Jeff Green on why him and the old crew left. I believe nothing that PCGamer has to say about anything anymore.

If I owned a company and eather the Ad company I hired or the Ad Department I had in charge had done this much for me in 5 years, I would have 2 questions, and 1 comment.

1. Were is the money I gave you and what was it used on?

2. What have you been doing for the last 5 years?

C1. Your fired!

There has been some very bad handling of this brand over the years. From bad game change, ie PvP, to bad handling of the promotion of the "Flagship" game..

I will make one suggestion to the Dev Team, If you really do read these, from someone that has been with the game for almost 7 years now, and played about 10-12 hours a day. Every person I have played with that was new and coming from another MMO has said "I came over to check out the PvP. The PvE is great but its just a grind like every other game. I'll play the month/free but the PvP is not that good so its not worth it to me"

PLEASE, I know you guys are full steam ahead but, PLEASE go back and make it better.. I make this request for the love of this game. I in all that time playing have been in the PvP zones maybe 10 hours. So you know its not a PvP arguement, that is what people that are coming to the game want that come to this game. I am sorry you guys are tired of going over the old stuff, I truely am. But you need to fix this.. I will even suffer through a whole issue of nothing but PvP upgrades/fixes (well and some SG base stuff pls). Just so we can get new people to stay with the game....
