Gladiator's Armor 3%

Question.... where does one acquire this without dropping 2Bil on the market and waiting for who knows how long to get one? This is the first time I've tried to purchase this "mythical enhancement" and I'm finding out it's like Snipe hunting.....

save 60 Emp Merits and get one in Ouroborous.

Where would I get one in Ouro? Is there a vendor of some kind there I'm unaware of? (Actually hoping so, lol)

Issue 20.5 introduced 2 vendors to Ouroboros. Empyrean Michael, and Astral Christy. The Empyrean store allows for the purchasing of purple/PvP IOs

You could also go the Alignment Merit route, and purchase one from the alignment vendor for 30 A-Merits

Both rewards are gated by time, however, as you can only get a maximum of 3 Emp Merits, and 1.5 A-Merits (1 every 2 days from tip/morality missions, and 1 per day converting 50 regular Merits at the cost of 20mil inf) per day per character.

A buddy of mine just got one of these with Hero Merits. I think it cost 35 and not 30. He chose to earn all the merits rather than buy any of them, so it took him 70 days of doing 5 Tip missions per day. If you have enough regular Reward Merits, you can buy a Hero Merit for 50 Reward Merits and 20 Mil, so you can increase to getting 3 every two days, so you can earn/buy one in 12 days.

I've saved up about 12 Hero Merits on one character so I'm thinking about doing it myself. (I'm too cheap to spend 2-3 bil on one enhancement, but I don't mind taking the time to earn one over a long period of time.)

It's 30 Alignment Merits.

I've gotten 1 the 1.5 day route, and another 1 every other day route (okay, when I got to 29, I bought the last hero merit required with reward merits).

If you're willing to be patient, it's not to hard to obtain. I just set my difficulty to -1 and rushed every mission.

Also, another suggest which people don't seem to do, set the slider to lvl 10 when you buy it.

That way you can slot it at lvl 7

If you have the money, you can also buy them off market. Just go to the market forum and look, there are a number of threads with people looking to sell.

And several of the market regulars will be willing to act as a trusted third party to ensure no one gets cheated.

Both Dumpleberry and Fulmens have offered such services and I have used them myself. They tend to take a small cut of the price, basically the same way the market would if you bought it through the market.

Think the 35/30 confusion is because for some mysterious reason known only to the devs the 3% resist io is 35.

It's a PVP IO. I think it's pretty funny that nobody even suggested the possibility of getting one by engaging in PVP.
