Ive always enjoyed the solo content, I love the story arcs but I've recently started to multi-box a lot so does that count as teaming?

Oh... I actually enjoyed Admiral Sutter's TF. I guess I'm in the minority there.
I do love Mortimer Kal though, thats one of my favorite TF/SF -
It's odd nobody has mentioned running Admiral Sutter's TF which is available from level 20-40.

Just finished the taskforce with no major problems. The last fight I need to use shivans on Lanaruu, but that was more because the client my tanker was running on, kept freezing, and eventually loggin out, create two full team wipes, but there where no problems up till that.
The missons that was the most cumbersome, was the Nemesis missions. Double aggroing groups with 3 bosses in each (Wark hulks and fake nemesis), gave alot of aoe damage as alpha burst.
A couple of pointers for the tagalong team:
1. Make sure you have end mod buf enough.
2. Let each character have a single target attack fully slottet to use on AV's
3. Let each character have a cone or Aoe (no placement AOE) fully slotted to use on regular spawns.
4. Have atleast two characters have Pbaoe heals
5. HAve on charcter have a single target heal to use on tanker when taking down an AV
6. regen, defense and to hit debuffs are very helpful
7. And last but not least; travel powers. Doing the shard tfs involvs a lot of traveling, so having several character have recall friend is a really good idea. Having at least one character having the team tp power makes it a lot easier. I also recommend buying jet packs for the whole entourage. Let them follow with the jet packs on when doing kill X mission makes it A LOT faster. And its kinda cool seing the team fly in formation. SB boost short fly time considerabley as well, though two kinetics is preferrable to get boost on the whole team.

Thanks for the update, I need to get afew of my other accounts up higher before I get to the Shard TF's but I appreciate the tips and I follow most of them now as it is so I look forward to the challenge. If you do any other TFs and have some tips or tricks keep me updated on those as well. I love hearing about the exploits and adventures of other multi-boxers. -
I would love an update on this Sulfur as I like to multi box as well, I run a 4 or 5 man squad regularly and am starting on trying the TFs too. I've only done Posi and Synapse so far but want to give them all a try eventually.

I run story arcs and jump on any TF's I can if I can stay long enough. I run the SSAs as well.

I was running a dual box set up (2 computers, 1 main one and 1 older one with graphics turned way down)for almost 2 years (2 paid accounts) and when freedom launched I started triple boxing using my lap top. I have a blast trying to run all 3 at the same time and I have made a few free accounts as well so I can start my own TFs. I have the other accounts on follow and autofire an attack. Generally the 2 other accounts are buff/debuff toons.

I'm a huge comic and movie nerd and I love the show and my wife who knows next to nothing about comics or science absolutley loves the show and she is now learning more about comics and other geek stuff which makes me extremely happy.
She doesn't get all the references the show makes but I'm more than happy to explain them to her. -

I'd do my Cold/Ice Def again (Love that toon) and use the 2nd slot to play around with various sets. My altitis wouldnt allow me to have my only 2 spots filled

I logged in, picked my powers Claws/regen, duh. I'm a Wolvie fan boy)
Got to the costume creator, and couldnt see anything except the silhouette of my toon. I just picked some random costume pieces and loaded in. The scenery was beautiful. All the costumes I saw were great. I even got a few compliments on mine. When I explained I couldn't see anything, I was told I needed a new video card. by this time it was already pretty late, so I just played.
The next day, new video card, plus 100 dollars to get it installed right then.
I loved it, and have been here ever since. I even managed to play while I was deployed. At the time, I hadn't even met my future wife. Now I have my account, my wife has hers, and my almost 6 year old girl has her own account to. -
I think I first heard of the game in small article in PC gamer back in mid to late 2002 and checked out the website. Went on the forums and lurked around and then joined a pre-launch SG called the Canadian Shield and we had our own forums. Played a little in beta and had to miss the launch as I was away on a vacation. First day back jumped in and have been here ever since. Picked up a second account in 2004 or so.
I will never leave and I have loved every moment of this game, it's been a dream come true for me as I've always wanted a game where I can make my own heroes. -

Thank you for the help and advice, I'll see what I can put together. I've never built a PC so I better get one pre-built for me. I guess I'll save up a little bit more and get a great system built.

Hello everyone,
Thanks for taking the time to hopefully give me some help and advice. With Freedom coming I thought I should see if I can upgrade my computer so I can run Ultra Mode and enjoy CoH in all its glory.
I don't have a budget in mind just yet as I'm wondering if the computer I have right now is worth upgrading or just going and buying a new computer is the better option.
I used Hyperstirke's guide to help here but didnt run the HIJACKTHIS app as I'm not having any problems with the game, I just dont have the graphics ramped up.
If you need any other info than what is provided below please let me know. I don't have much computer knowledge besides basic stuff but I'll try and keep up the best I can.

If you want to get it through defeating other players, your best bet is to set up an AFK PVP farm and leave it running for a few weeks.

I think I like the dragon wings better Samuel, it comes across as more menacing. The insect wings are a little small in my opinion.
The dual blades do look pretty cool too. -
