So Energy Aura gets some wicked sounding buffs...How about using the opportunity to FIX some of the powers in Poison..poison (C)Trap especially?
And why does dark blast suddenly get AIm? So it fits for blasters...why doesnt AR and Dp have aim? If you can 'aim' throwing bolts of darkness, aim with a bow..why cant you look down the sights of a gun?

Methinks SR made it to Tanks so that all of the Freems that come in at launch can make a soft-capped tank without throwing IOs at it.

But otherwise...

Poison getting buffed and proliffed? Thanks.
A blaster I might actually play? Cool.
Possibly a powerset for scrappers that does more ST damage than BS? Yes please.
EA getting buffed and proliffed? Could be awesome.

You do realize Rularuu Eyeballs, KoA, and Rikti Drones all have the ability to mez, right? And if you're held/disoriented/sleeping you lose all stealth, right?

How about not bother with powerset prolif and fix all of the old TFs and SFs instead. This game seems to forget having things to do (that are fun) trumps this type of thing. This is my opinion, of course

Unless those groups see through stealth then there isn't a problem running without mez protection. If they can see through stealth then sneaking up on them wouldn't work anyway, so you would just leave the mez protection on.

Unless you are playing a stalker, and need to be hidden to AS or get an easy crit, there is no reason you can't have stealth running without mez protection and just turn the mez protection on when you are in place before any other attacks.

I'm REALLY hoping Regeneration finally gets some debuff resistance. It is currently the only mitigation set in the game that has no resistance to any kind of debuffs whatsoever. It kind of sucks when a couple debuffing enemies can completely neuter your secondary's ability to keep you on your feet.

The change to Entropy Aura in Energy Aura looks really interesting as well. A recharge buff for each enemy in melee range of you? That sounds....possibly ludicrous with all the recharge bonuses we can already get.

Actually the changes to Energy Aura overall look nice.

Poison for Controllers sounds interesting as well. I'm predicting another GM killer combo in Illusion/Poison.

The lack of proliferation for Dominators leads me to believe that they may be working on Dark Illusion Control/Dark Assault for them. Illusion as it is wouldn't be a good fit, as only 2 powers in the entire set would get any benefit at all from Domination.

Maybe something like this:

If/when Doms do get illusion and anything happens to phantom army ima gonna rage quit, lol jkjk but I will be a little miffed about it.

All I can say is we better not hear **** else about the cottage rule after this issue goes live. You have literally nuked the cottage with this round of changes. Still mad about no illusion though. For the post i21 changes my guess is someone finally had the balls to get rid of dimension shift and they are fixing gravity control.

I'm fairly certain the devs don't even own a nuke, let alone have a spare one to pointlessly use on a cottage...

I guess my next question is how are they going to make regen playable on brutes in terms of tanking? Given how are hard avs hit there isnt much all those clicks are going to do. Mog just means you delayed becoming a greasy stain on the pavement for 10 seconds or so. Your still going to die.

Can we please improve some of the older sets too? I really think Dark Blast set needs a small buff. Looking at Blaster's version (the text), it has Aim which is a HUGE bonus for a set that has a true nuke at lvl 32. Blaster's version also has a single hold.

Is there any way Life Drain can be improved? It is a really poor power. It has 12 endurance cost, 15s recharge and the damage is only like a tier 1. Siphon Life has a much higher damage and only 10s recharge.

Can we find a happy middle-ground for Life Drain? I really want to like this power but its healing is pretty poor. The current version of Life Drain is not a good heal, not a good damage, not endurance-efficient, not fast activating and what's more, it has less range than other blasts. Can't we improve some aspects of it? Pretty please?


What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Kinetic Melee can work with Energy Aura just as easily as Energy Melee.

Animation team is busy, so Ice Melee for Stalkers will have to wait.

Energy Melee was without Energy Aura from day 1, so nothing new there.

That assumes ones wants to play those other ATs for the set combo. If I have the option for a combo between the Brute and the Scrapper, I'll pick the Scrapper everytime and twice on Sunday.

This isn't to say I don't realize some combos are better on one AT than the other, but we all know Scrappers are just more fun

All of those groups do see through stealth. And lets not forget nemesis snipers, longbow spec ops, probably some others
