Saw something about the spoiler-ness of trailers in the past few years just before Super 8 came out. Despite how many people complain about it, apparently the majority of the movie-going public doesn't respond well to non-spoiler-y trailers.

edit to add- Friggin awesome!!!!!!

So, I don't see why you'd think he'd be a scared little kid who becomes a hero. With that scene alone it seemed like a "little kid who wasn't afraid to get his butt kicked"
I recall that scene but not the bit where he said "I can go all day" in the previous trailer, just him holding up the trashcan lid like a shield. If there was another one where he said that, I must not have seen it.

Here is the link to the full cast/characters slated to appear:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0458339/fullcredits#cast

Dum Dum Dugan, Gabe Jones, Union Jack, Sam jackson as Nick Fury in an uncredited appearance so I'll presume that to be the post credits scene after the movie, possibly of Cap being thawed from the ice?

Oh yeah......HOWARD STARK is listed. Given how among Howard's possessions that Tony was given in IM2 was an unfinished Captain America shield, I wonder if Howard Stark will have a hand developing the shields in this movie?

Also given that Hugo Weaving is the Red Skull....I hope one of the Skull's soldiers has the last name of Anderson just so we can hear the Red Skull say "Mr. Anderson!"

Want now!
Say what? While the assistant was humorous, that movie was not a dropping of the ball by Marvel at all. Elektra and Blade Trinity and Daredevil are examples of Marvel dropping the ball. Green Lantern and Superman Returns are examples of DC dropping the ball.

Hmm, when I saw the latest trailer I was thinking the black guy was going to be a young Nick Fury. Maybe they're just swapping out Nick Fury's WWII role for Dum Dum Dugan's present role.

Hard to say. Nick remains "young" due to the Infinity Formula which is created from an attempt to recreate the super soldier serum as I recall. Maybe it's a young Nick Fury who gets wounded and Cap gives him an emergency transfusion and the serum in his blood slowed down Nick's aging....

Sure it looks good, but does Captain America steal any cars through the use of trickery?

Goodbye, I guess.

Have you been watching the trailers? Howard's been in them a bit and been referred to by name.

I wonder if things will be tense between Cap and Tony when Steve gets unfrozen and heaps praise on Stark Sr. when Tony has nothing but bad memories of his old man.

I also wonder if Tony will make Cap's new uniform, and if he does, whether or not we'll get an Iron Patriot easter egg.

Well I can see Steve meeting Tony and thinking for awhile that the apple fell pretty far from the tree as it were until he sees Tony in action as Iron Man. However given that Tony's memories of his father are a bit incomplete perhaps Steve can help fill in a few blanks.

I can see Tony modernizing Cap's uniform, part of which would be to make sure the chainmetal alloy integrates the mask with the costume instead of leaving his neck exposed like it was originally.

Wonder if the Cap movie will have a mention of Professor Horton or Jim Hammond?

I don't think Tony has bad memories of his father any more. In IM2 he saw the movie from his father telling him that he believed Tony was the real future of Stark Enterprises. Plus he's gotten his own taste of how his obsession with his technology can lead to the alienation of those closest to him.

True he did get that message from his father and pieced together the clues that Howard left behind. As to the alienation, that was more from the fact that he knew he was a dead man walking due to palladium poisoning and the side effects it was having on him driving him a bit crazy.......then getting sloshed at his own party while in the IM armor didn't help.

He's still playing the Red Skull...he'd more likely say "Herr Anderson"

Still find the 'Heroes are made in America' part kind of...ehhh...overly cheesey and borderline facepalm-worthy patronising. I take it no one else is allowed Heroes?

In all seriousness? Do want. Do want NOW. It's nice to see, very clearly, how Steve Rogers is just your average joe who is actually, heaven forbid, human.

I didn't read this as "Heroes are made *only* in America."

It sounds like something Sarah Palin would claim Paul Revere said.

Beyond that, I am eager to see this movie.

Given that Captain America was created as part of propaganda back in the day and the cover of Captain America comics has him punching Adolph, I can see that slogan being used.

Honestly, every time I see a trailer I can't help but think they went too far making him short and scrawny for the Before version. It just doesn't look right. Like they're just photoshopping Chris Evans' full sized adult head head onto a 12 year old's body.

Yes, I get that he was supposed to be puny and weak before the super soldier stuff, but it just jumps past scrawny and into eyeroll territory for me.
