So... how many are staying on an EU server or moving to a NA server?

How many of you EU players will be moving to a NA server once the merged server list is implemented?

I had an EU account for about a year (along with my NA account) and I know that many times badge runs, hami raids, etc. were hard to come by (even during EU peak times.)

I, for one, can't wait for the server list merge. Will be fun to play on an EU server again but with all my vet rewards and perks from my NA account

I've played on Union since the day Union opened. I'm not going nowhere. :>

Playing on an EU server sounds fun, especially during the day time here on the east coast for teaming purpose.

I will continue to play all my characters on the EU servers as much as possible, i will however be making new alts on some of your NA servers too.

I am looking forward to seeing a few faces from these boards ingame though, one or two people i do want to experience teaming with. Just a case of being lucky enough to come across them and picking the right server now though.

I've had a character on each NA server for a while... I guess I'll have to start thinking of some ideas for at least four more characters.

I'm probably going to make a second or third home on Union or Defiant now.

This is the best thing for my altitis since the bonus slots. I'm not "moving" so much as adding on an addition.

Pinnacle will most likely remain my home. I may branch out and check out the scene on Union and/or Defiant, but I have no current intentions of uprooting myself. That being said, I'm looking forward to playing with people from overseas.

I don't even really play on the other English-speaking EU server. :-)

I'll probably make an alt or two on some of the US servers, just to take a look around, but I don't foresee myself playing much on them.

'Move'? 'Stay'? doesn't this mean I can do both?

Union is my home, I have no intention of 'moving' anywhere.

However, I will definitely be either moving one of my less active 50s or rolling up again on Virtue to check out the RP scene.

As someone who often plays past peak EU times and into the night, having servers in different time zones will be very handy. Plus my altisis will likely go into overdrive.

I will stay over on EU... but I'm planning on making at least a couple of alts on the servers I'll now be able to access given both my EU accounts are full currently

I'll be doing the opposite, returning from across the seas back to the EU, at least in part. Probably going to take a break until then as well as I'm a bit burnt out by the shonkiness of i20 overall to be bothering with it.


Edit : Hang on, is the merge next week? I thought it'd be in August sometime.

I'm in the UK but I've always been on the US servers - when they offered transfers from US to EU the EU ones had been open long enough that I was fairly sure I'd lose character names etc if I switched (not to mention become separated from the friends that were still playing at that point).

With the merge I will probably roll a character or two on Defiant and/or Union, if only out of curiosity as to the population size at the times I play (I've always wondered whether I'd have found more teams etc if I'd made that initial switch). I'm also looking forward to the possibility of more EU timezone people playing on the US servers.

Can the NA folks answer the opposite question here?

This means I get 24 new, free slots, on servers with different peak hours so I might concentrate my daytime play to those servers. And there's 12 more slots on a server where I can practice my epicly rusty Deutsch (ich spreche nicht gut Deutsch) --- and 12 more slots to create solo characters and pretend to know a single word in French that hasn't already been absorbed into the English language.

Defiant is home.
However, an alt or two may find themselves going on excursions.

I might roll some alts on Freedom or Virtue out of curiosity/altitis but Defiant is my home and I don't see that changing any time soon.

I am from Europe but started on Victory when the game came out and will be staying there, since we have a very active European Supergroup.

I will be staying on Defiant (it is my home server!!) but will probably be venturing onto the US servers for a look see and Tanker Tuesdays
