NA/EU Slang/Sayings Problems?!
The one that makes me smile, is one of the british slang terms for cigarettes. In the US it means something VASTLY different.
Even the use of the Full US word means a Spicy Pork meatball in gravy.
It shouldn't be that much of a problem.
61866 - A Series of Unfortunate Kidnappings - More than a coincidence?
2260 - The Burning of Hearts - A green-eyed monster holds the match.

pissed = drunk, or angry?

Ok, with the NA and EU servers merging I can see some really strange and funny conversations starting up and getting what each other meant the wrong way round due to the different names/sayings we have for different things!
Like for example: Path = Sidewalk Lift = Elevator Chips = French Fries Crisps = Potato Chips Loo = Bathroom Treacle = Molasses Nappies = Diapers I know there are many others out there we are gonna get cross-wired with so feel free to add to the post (but keep it clean ), but at 8am on a Sunday my brain takes a while to wake up |
Off the top of my head there's:
Pants
Biscuit
The others I can think of are perhaps veering away from keeping it clean (not sure how strict the moderation would be).
but what bit would a female toon be rubbing if they landed on their fanny?

As an American who loves British shows, I wholeheartedly approve of this thread.
We're in for a thrill ride, and more laughs than you can shake a stick at.
And of course the same is true in the opposite direction for a certain American term for bottom.

I think my safest bet would be to simply use Spanish. Unless it's those weirdo Spaniards with their weirdo Spanish.

Cheers = Thanks

Slightly off topic, but I (an American) once had an Australian girl say the following to me. "Can I pinch a chip off ya, mate?".
It was a bit frightening, to be honest.
