Best power ever!
Fearsome Stare. Even better with Glimpse of the Abyss psi damage proc. (It makes me win staring contests against grays for GOOD!)
Also, aside from the hilarity of killing lower level critters just by looking at them, it's actually a good power. One of the best tohit debuffs available to players, and a fear that can be made perma fairly easily.

Thats a tuff one. I mean, I still remember the first time I saw "Propel". I said to my friend I was playing with and said "Did you just throw a %$#@ car??!!" But I guess my personal favorite power has to be "Rain of Arrows". Very neat looking and crazy damage.
Le Blanc 50 Dark/Dark Scrap
High Huntress 50 Archery/NRG Blast
And a goatload of others. On a goatload of servers.
Official Rickroller of Hero Con 1
Siphon Life - good damage and a heal. It's one of those powers I wish I could put twenty slots onto.

However, I do love using Lightning Rod. Also, pretty much any Nuke makes me laugh with pure, overpowered joy.
One thing I really enjoyed was using chain lightning from Elec Control on grey minions in a corridor. I could get them to bounce off the walls as the KD was upgraded to KB on them.
Footstomp
Lightning Rod
Telekinesis + Domination
Propel
Nova
all spring to mind for that feeling of awesome
Eclipse. A power that caps your resists to everything with a few enemies in range, refills your endurance bar, can be made Perma, and has no crash? Yes please.
Best power I've used so far?
Unstoppable!
Carrion Creepers. I love it when you're mid-fight and the little invisible pet you'd forgotten about suddenly spawns 8 Tentacles around you and corpses start exploding.
I'm fond of all the "corpsey pet" powers though, Soul Extraction (Necromancy) and Dark Extraction (Warshade) are two more of my favourite powers too. Soul for "So, you killed my zombie huh? Now you've just annoyed him" and Dark Extraction for the joy of using a tricky enemies corpse to summon a floating blob of doom.
Freezing Rain / Sleet also has to rank up there as my favourite debuff in the game.
I'm old school but I do love a Double Rage, Almost Maxed Fury, FE Fueled Fireball thrown by my SS/FA Brute....just feels right and it makes me laugh when I take out a grp of +2 Minions in 1 shot.
For a visual feel of power, I'd say Dawn Strike. It just has that look of POW!
Freezing Rain. It's crowd control! It's a defensive debuff! It's an offensive debuff! NOW IN TWO DELICIOUS FLAVORS.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.
I have to agree that Freezing Rain is still pretty amazing, even if you can't kill Hammy from max altitude anymore with a flying storm crew...
... but the power that still sends chills down my spine, even without the uber sound effect, is FULCRUM SHIFT!
Many people love their huge damage cap pushing buffs, but it also is a great debuff, too.
Triumphant Defenders Forever
Psylenz FF/Psi, ArticQuark Storm/Rad, Symon BarSisyphus Bots/psn, Max VanSydow Thugs/Dk, Cyclone Symon Bots/stm, Blue Loki Ice/Cd, Widow 46526
HelinCarnate:OMG it is so terrible. I have the option to take 3 more powers but no additional slots. Boo F'ing hoo.
Combat Jumping.
I can get immobilization protection for characters that don't have it.
I get a mini travel power with a very nice vertical assist.
I can slot it with the following IOs:
* Knockback Protection
* Slow Resistance
* LOTG 7.5%
It costs next to nothing to run
EVERY character I create has access to it!
Make a man a fire and keep him warm for the day, SET a man on fire and keep him warm for the rest of his life.
Incarnates: K'lir(Fire/Dark Corr):Hot-House Flower(Plant/Fire Dom):Kinrad X(Kin/Rad Def):Itsy-Bitsy Spider(Crab):Two Ton Tony(Mace/WP Broot):Teeny Weeny Widow(Fortunata/Widow) : Zeroth Law (Ice/Fire Tank)
Eclipse.

don'T attempt to read tHis mEssaGe, And believe Me, it is not a codE.
Personally I've always favored Rise of the Phoenix as the best power.
Go ahead. Kill me.
I'LL NUKE YOU FROM THE GRAVE!!!
Fireball. Good damage, good radius, good recharge - It's just good, period, and available to so many ATs.
After that, Shield Charge. A 20-foot high-power TAoE in a >Defense< set? Yes puh-lease!
force field generator.
Zap and Sniper blast.
Just on animation basis.
Lean back steady right arm with Left, SNIPE!
Love the animation, hate the powers.
When something good happens to me, I can never enjoy it....
I am always too busy looking for the inevitable punchline...
BEHOLD THE POWER OF CHEESE!
Recall friend, fallout.
All the above are fun and I do enjoy lightning rod.
Using repel and force bubble to toss mobs across entire zones is however much more fun for me.
I sometimes wonder how the game deals with it, do people in Grandville see all Aracnos spawn I have flung off the webbing as I run from mission to mission? Teleporting into a group has its point as well.
Taking my /kin to atlas park and seeing how much air I can get with lvl 1's is fun too. Wonder if we could organize a mob throwing contest. Would it back up the local hostpitals to much dealing with all the broken bones? I'd think it would serve a strong deterrent to crime.
Hmmm, I need to go to Mercy and see how far I can fling some RIP. Not like my Villainous self is holding a grudge about how those buggers picked on me when all I could afford to build was one little robot with minimal armament's. Teach them.
Favorite powers:
Rain of arrows, especially with boost range+Bu+aim+3 dam/range HO's. That's like having your cake with cookies, fresh pie, ice cream and strawberries.
Tanker: "I'll go round up the next group"
*I gobble reds, do above combo*
*Tanker runs down the hall, tries to hit taunt as they all die.*
*Tanker looks back at my blaster, all the way back at the entry*
"What?"
Crab spider-suppression: I love all the crab AoE's, but this one just cuts the cake. With all the armors, debuffs down and popping aim I love letting this power loose as lasers blast over a huge swath of foes. It's just one of those "RAAAAWR!spiderlasers!powpowpo...okay, you're all gone" things.
Brute Energy transfer: Yes, it's slow. Yes, it requires careful timing. Yes, if you hit buildup, have red candy, and are at high fury, you can take a huge, nasty JAWS-style bite out of an enemy's HP in one dramatic blow.
Adrenalin Boost: If you have enough recharge to make this permanent, it will absolutely spoil a teammate and they probably won't notice it until you are gone. It's probably one of the most quietly awesome powers in the game. No huge aura, looks almost like you healed them. But all of a sudden their powers come back fast, their blue stays topped, and they get 'healed' without you ever touching them.
Drain Psyche for dominators: mez a group, jump in, almost a self adrenalin-boost when you use this power. Also so very sweet when an AV shows up.
Robots' napalm missiles, especially with an immobilize: BUURN.
In the same vein, a dominators' rain of fire, especially combined with embrace of fire and fire cages: BUUUUUUUURN.
Footstomp: It just has so much "Oomph!"
Short circuit, on a defender: So, you thought you had endurance?
Frenzy, for brutes/doms: set your fury/dom bars to awesome.
...And though it's inherent, it just has to be said: Domination. Endurance, mez strength, mez protection, it's just the little button that says "Make me awesome."
...Oohkay, i can think of more but I should stop.
Shield Charge followed by Lightning Rod. On a good +Recharge you can alternate them. On a tight map you almost never need to actually move anywhere. I call this Rush N Rod...
Soul Transfer. Mag 30 Stun on a 25' radius and I can slot it with an Eradication Proc for energy damage. Of course I need to be dead to use it...
"Comics, you're not a Mastermind...you're an Overlord!"
I still remember the first time I saw someone use Confuse when I was new. I didn't even know there was a power that did that. I immediately made a mind/psi dom. Then I found out there's a thing called: Mass Confusion. Seeds is fun too but that whole mind control set puts a maniacal grin on my face.
I've just got my Electric Melee Brute to level 32 and the Lightning Rod has to be the best power in the game!
anyone else think this?
What's your favorite power?
