Massive thanks to Kallandra for arranging everything this weekend, was great fun, met some lovely people and it's the first time I've won a competition by defecating in public.

Eagerly awaiting next years...

Edit: And apologies to Dante for the fashion faux pas

I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we, the Defiant server (all 6 of us) enjoyed ourselves very much at the Player Meet, and had a great time! We even did a 6-man Kahn TF, our proud screenshot presented below:

Congrats to @Tenebris, @Mereman, @Sir Gawain (previously @Kendai), @EU-Cambo, @Judgement Dave and @Riff

Thanks for organising it, Kallandra!

Would not do again. Still a good laugh.
Aye, although i have to admit it does prove that you should *never* discuss idea's in a pub...

Thanks to everyone who took part in it, and considering the amount of crashing that we had (whilst zoning), I am surprised that we managed to complete it so fast... especially considering that we were 7 manning it at several stages due to people heading off for food.

DAMN THAT LAST MAP THOUGH!

Thanks to Kall for organizing it, and also thanks to Spad for getting there early on the friday to double check the machines... i actually think that we ended up with more people taking their own PC's than those who actually showed up (And props to Judgement Dave for confusing all of us when he thought that his laptop didnt have a network port, but that was due to him plugging his mouse into it)

Now... who is up for the other SSTF's and the Abandoned Sewer Trial?

I've started putting up some of the pictures from the event, and they can be found here

I'll be adding the screenshots to it later

More shots of the best and worse random costume contest lineup:

Poor Victory server didn't know what hit it.

Not that I got up to much, I missed out on the SSTF (one I'd already done with my main badger) and then crashed out before the BAF at my hotel room (whose wi-fi wasn't working for me). Still a lot of fun just like last year even though we STILL didn't get a Cavern of Transcendance done.

I'm glad the boxed sets ended up in good hands. Having three sets of those heroclix figures and artbooks was a bit redundant. I hope AB and Alexia enjoy them

Due note: A sleepy TheO is a Funny TheO also a Seffs-y TheO.

I learnt many a-thing about various things. Wild Red's reaction to me was 8awesome* as she only realised I'm me when Kall said and that one slow moment of realisation dawned upon her! xD

In the meantime I had a whopping amount of fun being the first person to find Kall heroside with only Ninja Run and Sprint, thus proving that travel powers aren't needed! \o\

Great fun, can't wait for the next one, vote we all crash at Kendai's next year.

Thanks for doing this again Kall and I look forward to the next one. I find it so refreshing getting this chance to solidify relationships with game buddies into real life friendships. I forgot to be nervous this time round unlike last year and enjoyed meeting the new faces.

Special thanks to Spad for showing me how to cable-up my secondary hard drive, and helping realise I had actually broken my LED light switch, if not by dragging the tower across the country, then probably by prodding it and electrocuting myself like an idiot. The face on Thunderar!

LOL. That awkward moment when something terrible but stupidly funny happens, and you're not sure whether to console the idiot or laugh in his face?

My wife asked me when I got back home "would you go again?"

Without any thought I said "Yes".

I have to thank one and all for making, as Kendai kept reminding me, an old man very welcome

No crime for being a fan of awesome TV programs and their spin off media.

I am required each year to do something embrarrassing. I'm sure it's written in some cosmic lore book. However, for a change it was not at the cost of my dignity. This time it was finding a limited edition, 24 hour, one print run only t-shirt commemorating the finest Firefly class ship to grace the skies, ordering it from America, taking one month to get here, preserving it to wear to the Sunday of the player meet only to find...

The Spad already sitting there in the t-shirt before me. Bugger.

Thanks again for organising everything Kall and for introducing me to Caramelattes.

Hehe, thanks. I just thought meh, I brought the thing with me again, would be silly not to throw it on. The swords aren't ours btw, they're Gangrel's.

I just wanna thank Kelandra for a great event and I had a blast on the sunday. Totally fantastic and great to meet so many people who I know even if only indirectly.

Thanks also to Kendai and Tenebris as my erstwhile welcoming committee and to the rest of you for a fab time.

Great to put names to faces too. I apologise in advance for not remembering you all individually - lots to take in.

PS... if you are over 12 you get to give Kendai a slap every time he says "old man" cuz he's really only 11 ;-)

Just want to echo some of the thanks already shown above! A great effort by Kallandra et al in putting the meet together. Whilst I wasn't able to be present as much as I'd hoped it was good to have the chance to put names to faces, and to find a venue that can be used whilst waiting for the broadband to be connected up in my apartment.

Well done all !!
