It's been 6 years and I STILL incorrectly click on Lower Body when trying to find Belts in the costume creator!

I dunno. When I think of Lower Body, I think waist level and under.

What do you still do, after 6 years, that you just can't seem to get right?

It's only been three years for me, but I still do the same thing with belts from time-to-time.

And we've only had access to the power for like a year and a half(?) but I still forget to set my mission when soloing before I click on the Mission TP power, which typically results in me being even further from my mission, and with no way to TP there. A QoL issue I really wish they'd fix.

1: Creating costumes: In general mine are pretty boring tried-and-true collections of bits I use regularly. Inspiration may have struck me once or twice with a new idea, but has subsequently spent the rest of the time pounding my head to mush with the same two.

2: Playing the game: I'm...not very good to put it politely. After 5 years of play you'd think I would improve but I still occasionally tab target a second mob or misjudge aggro radius. Oh and clicky buffs are my BANE, I've got a Dark/Rad corruptor who runs around without Accelmet 90% of the time solely because I forget I have it.

3: Making character builds: I do no research on this, my general "method" is to look at skills until my mind yells "OOOH SHINY!" and take whatever prompted that, same method applies to slotting.

4: Using in game tools: We have global channels we can join? Since when? (Seriously I found out about this not very long ago)

A short list of my many, many failings in the game. Give me time and I'm sure I could come up with some more.

I hang on to medium & large insps like they're somehow earning me interest.

Similarly, when soloing my Doms I tend to save Domination "for the next fight, you know, just in case."

Inspirations are organized in the tray based on color and size, with offensive to the left, defensive in the middle, and healing / awakens to the right. Larger Inspirations go at the top, so as to not accidentally use it. And for some reason, I would rather die then use a large Inspiration that may have saved my life. They tend to get saved for "that next big battle, which will be worse then this", even though a death now is just as bad as a death later. Only later I'll still have the Inspirations!

Inspirations are my one true OCD experience in this game.

Oh good, you're all the exact same. Without fail, every time (and I do mean every time) I try to set the Belt in the costume creator, I always check the Lower Body section first. I figure because it goes on my pants, that's where it would be. >.>

And I hoard Tier 3 insps like nobody's business for that really tough fight I just know is right around the corner. Then, to make sure I always know what insps I have and when I have enough to combine them, I organize them all by color and size, stacking them next to each other so they "match."

I never use a build creator. I always pick powers I think would be neat and I slot according to a concept in my head of what I think the set could do without ever actually running numbers on it.

I also still take teleport for conceptual reasons, even though I know full well there are less difficult travel powers to choose.

Yes, both of these.

I also still think in zone gates, not travel shortcuts. "Ok, Brickstown to King's Row. Let's see... train to Talos, fly to the Skyway gate, fly across Skyway to King's Row gate... why did everyone go straight to King's Row? OH DERP!"

Mail them to yourself. You WILL need them at some point - if not on this character, then another of yours.

I still run the 1-5 missions for my first contacts in Atlas Park and Galaxy City.

Oh, and Mr. Right/Gatecrasher?
One or two columns of greens, one or two columns of blues, and on the right, one column of Awaken(s) and Break Free(s). Everything else gets used right away, combined, or given away to someone who can use it more. Always.

After six years, I still create the LARGEST female ever, no matter what concept I create for her. She's got to be a gagillion feet tall, small waist, and long legs.

Without fail.

AND... I still giggle whenever I read some dialogue I thought was cute.

Ditto. Of course the second part is less of a big deal following the baseline damage buff.

L-R column 1 red/yellow, 2-3 green, 2 columns of purples/oranges 1 column of blues (level dependent) Largest inspirations on the bottom, smallest on top.

- ...get lost in some Longbow mission maps.

- ...hate the Circle of Thorns four-story-cave-room-of-doom.

- ...can't figure out how to play my Level 31 Rad/Rad Corruptor without running out of health and/or endurance after one minion.

- ...haven't really been to Warburg or Recluse's Victory.

- ...haven't memorized the Ski Chalet courses.

- ...cannot control my desire to make new alts (currently at 34 characters on my favorite server).

- ...get really excited when I first get a travel power on a new character (even with the Level 6 travels).

- ...haven't played a Kheldian.

I still frequently risk death rather than just pop a medium or large inspiration.

Once my character reaches 30th level I refuse to keep small inspirations in my stack at all. Receive and pop all in the same moment.

I always take concept over effectiveness. I'll take a useless power if it fits with the idea I had for the character and I'll forgo an awesome one if it just doesn't seem to fit properly.

I still get the occassional goosebumps when I hear the Atlas Park theme music swell out of my speakers.

I'm still here. I'm still playing. And I'm still making lists and tournament changes about the game to which I'm addicted.

Well, you're in a position of power to order your minions to make a female huge model if you really like that sort of thing

I do this exact thing myself. First row is healing, second is endurance, third is defense, fourth is damage fifth is 1 accuracy, 1 break free and 1 rez. I am super OCD about organizing it to the point it has gotten be defeated on nearly all of my characters on a fairly regular basis.

Another OCD thing I do is to make sure I never have more than 1 of each type of uncommon piece of salvage at a time. After playing a game since beta you develop some pretty difficult habits to break...

This is pretty much me in a nutshell. I generally forget to make new costumes after the first one.

I finally used the big inspirations in the tutorial for what seemed like the first time just last week... I figured it had been long enough so what the heck, might as well.

I deleted my original fire/kin sometime before issue 1, around level 26. I've finally gotten around to rolling one up in the last month or two and worked it just past my original.

Also THIS:

Add to that the new(ish) giant arachnos room of obnoxiousness, which may be even worse.

I assume it's to conserve inventory space; I always try to offload Uncommon and Rare Salvage (either to storage or the market), unless I'm specifically planning to craft something that needs them.

I still don't like Superspeed after all these years. I took it once, disliked it, respec'd out and never got it again.

Also, I've never been in a successful Abandoned Sewer Trial run. I still have a demorecord of a horribly, horribly botched attempt that ended with hundreds of Rikti on the map. :P
