Myself, being an old school comic dork, it always frustrates me when Hollywood gets its' claws in a comic franchise because they never seem to keep it simple.They always have to change something because some fool in a suit, who has most likely never read a comic book to begin with, believes the show or movie won't work as portrayed in the comics.

95% of the time the suits are wrong.

Sadly this time I believe the suits are right.

As much as I wish the red, blue and gold suit would work and the original comic storyline could stay intact. . .their time has passed . . .at least for a weekly television show.

As I approach the age of 40(yikes), I have seen most of the things I enjoyed in childhood change, from re-vamps to re-writes, to a complete disavowing of previous work.If it takes a tweek of story and history to get Wonder Woman on the small screen, then go for it.

Let me put it this way.

Smallville.

Smallville is the biggest turd ever dropped on television.It has also survived for 10 years thanks to an attractive cast who do a good job with the complete manure that is written for them, and a very loyal fan base.I watch it every week.I have seen every show.I watch Smallville for the small, tiny moments that get it right.They are few and far between but they are there.Those moments make it worth it to watch, and make the rest of the time watching bearable.

I am hoping for the same thing from Wonder Woman.

A final comment to those jokers who posted that Palicki didn't quite "measure up".Lynda Carter is one in a trillion.Beauty, grace and class . . .they just do not make them like that woman anymore.

Adrianne Palicki is not exactly lacking in the "asset" department either.Get stronger glasses or maybe put the bottle down for a bit.Or maybe do both.

Looks like it's going to be Adrianne Palicki of Friday Night Lights fame.

I never heard she was in the running,but certainly won't complain.She is very easy on the eyes and not a bad actress.

I still think she was born to play Supergirl though.(and no, her stint on Smallville doesn't count.)

Yet another fine example of a federally funded moneypit in my country.The C.B.S.C. once again shows that it is a complete waste of taxpayers money by doing something completely not relevent or usefull.
It has just created a bigger problem.

The C.B.S.C. and the C.R.T.C. need to be dissolved.There are better, more visible and accountable places for our money now.(I am looking directly at you CBC.You're next!)

There was a time when I could see that the Government felt these institutions were nessecary.

That time has passed.Nothing shows it more than this well though out decision.

It's been 6 years, and I still do not know how to create a bind.

Raven? Her own show? Really? She wouldn't be my first choice, but if they are going to pick the less known ones for T.V ,then I am not going to complain.

It just means that maybe someday down the road,someone will actually consider doing a real Suicide Squad show/movie.I would love to see writer John Ostrander's version of the Squad on the screen.

I know it wasn't a popular book,but if you want a good character driven read, then it doesn't get much better than that series.Ostrander's run on the Spectre was just as good too.

I still miss those books.

Things I would have done differently?

Travel power suppression.It should have never been included in PVE.I understand the reasoning of it for PVP(For the 4% of this games population that actually does PVP),but it should have been removed from PVE a long time ago.

Now for the oddball one.I really wish someone would fix that corner streamer in Pocket D.I am talking about the ones that sit on the corners of the square that the speaker/dance floor sits on,they light up from the floor to the ceiling.It has been broken since they opened the place.I realize it is not a gamebreaker, but after all these years, and upgrades to Pocket D, I thought someone would have gotten around to it.

Obviously the maintenance/custodial staff in the D need a refresher course in how to change a lightbulb.

Ugh.

My "it's crap" alarm just went off.

Loudly.

I like a lot of the things they have given the players at Christmas.The last event with the new winterlord mission especially.

There are a couple of changes I would like to see though.

1.The Baby New Year mission. It needs an update.Or a rewrite.Or a revamp.Something.Anything.Please.

2.We have Christmas themed costume pieces.We have presents we can share.We have this very neat little zone that opens up for a short time each year.Heck, we even have snowballs we can throw at each other.A lot of great stuff for sure.

So . . . .where are the decorations? We are at the 5 year marker (roughly) for bases in the game, and not one Christmas decoration for them.I am looking for a couple of different sized Christmas trees( 7-8 feet and 30 feet high or so with multi-colored lights), a big snowman . . . stuff like that.

Oh and a big Christmas tree in one of the zones.Huge.Maybe even make it on a new island in the Chalet.

Yes I know I am asking for a lot.Some of us are huge Christmas dorks.I happen to be one of them.

I just spent 1.5 hours solo before I got a tip.After 6 years in this game(roughly) I should be used to the Halloween drop rates being messed up as soon as it's transfered from Test.Something always seems to get screwed up every year.

I really hope this is an honest transfer mistake, because if it is not . . . .then this flat out sucks.

I already have a job.

I do not need another, and getting these badges just became one.

One of my biggest problems with this game has been around from the start.

The entrance to the trams.Is there anyone else who is sick of having to move around a big map every single time you use it?

They make this big entrance, then cut it in half with a see through divider and then stick that big wall of map right in the middle of what is left.

If there was a point to it, I have never heard it.

Please turn the map 90 degrees.It is annoying.

And I am tired of running into it.

I am glad to see that a couple of people that are hearing impaired (or related to someone who plays) have made a couple posts here.

What I did not see in those posts was an idea or starting point for some form of solution.If any voice holds more weight here- it is yours.Give the people who make this game some ideas on what would work best from your point of view.

After all, if they can spend all the untold hours wasted on PVP in this game for such a small percentage of players,(Yeah..I said it ) then they can make a big QoL change for a small group of players.

It really does seem out of place in the Rikti War Zone. There is already enough of AE buildings blighting the zones, they probably could have not bothered here.

I just wanted to add my name to the list of people that thinks this would be a great thing to add to the game.

In this nerfed for the PvP minority,enhancement diversifying,toggle dropping mezfest this game has become,something fun would be a very welcome addition.
