Your even handedness and humorous thread locks will be missed... no, really, it's rare that a person can balance "the hammer" with as much finesse and humor as you have. Job very well done. 
Also, thank you for your willingness to pop in for even small scale player events. Hopefully we'll be seeing you in game, even if it's "incognito".
Congrats on finding bright opportunities, and blessings on your future endeavors.

I have to say it's been a blessing to know you and have your assistance for events, and I will miss you greatly. The few times we've hung out I was always glad to see you, and I hope for the best for you and your loved ones wherever you go and whatever you do. Thank you all so much for the well wishes, it is comforting to know I'll be missed. As to the REAL reason I'll be leaving, I'm afraid it is indeed because Tamaki Revolution dc'd on me during a RSF.
Seriously though, there have been a few moments where I've second guessed myself. Opportunity only knocks for a short time however, and now is my chance to do the best I can for my family. I will indeed still be around but anonymously, so who knows if it's me you'll be chatting with!

Even though i had few direct interactions with Eric "theOcho" Cleaver i always enjoyed his posts for the equanimity and wit with which he handled his moderation duties.
We've gone through a fair number of mods over the years (i expect moderating any community is taxing), so turnover in moderation staff isn't really that much of a DOOOOOMMMM*ribbit*MMMM sign to me. Cuppajo was the first well known mod i recall leaving and that was a long time ago.
Even some of the long time developers leaving isn't that big of surprise after 6+ years... err, i mean DOOM!!!
Anyway, it was nice having you around the forums, Eric, we'll miss you. Best of luck with your new job.
