Finally finished the Day Job Badges today. However, I still have the villainside Day Job Accolade powers to max out.
Here is are my questions (which I tried to search for but I keep getting the Error 500 message on these CoH boards today on searching, so, sorry if they are repeat questions).
I know you have to be Villain or Rogue to get the Villain Day Job badges. I heard you cant get them if you are a Vigilante. However, now that I have the badges as a pure Villain, if I go all the way around back to Vigilante, can I recharge the Accolade Villain only powers (ex = Web Grenade from Web Weaver/Anti-Arachnos Activist and Smoke Bomb from Black Ops/Defector) as a Vigilante? Or do they recharge only as a Villain/Rogue?
If theres a duplicate of a power, ex: Sleep Gas from Whistleblower (Crey Scientist) and Sleep Gas from Scientist (Crackpot), do I get 1 copy of each? Or 1 total?
There seems to be quite a few Flight powers (called Flight, Jet Pack and Travelers Jet Pack based on the location). Since they are named differently, can I get 1 of each, or are they all basically 1 flight toggle? (Havent risked wasting 21 days to find out)

The Disruptor badge gives you the Longbow Warden 2 gladiator who has an AoE heal. Arena gladiator matches are generally how non-healers get the healing badges.

28 Day Jobs earned: 0 characters (All on both sides at 50)
27 Day Jobs earned: 1 character
26 Day Jobs earned: 2 characters
23 Day Jobs earned: 1 character
22 Day Jobs earned: 14 characters (All on either side at 50)
20 Day Jobs earned: 9 characters (All available 25-34 [Heroes] or 30-34 [Villains])
19 Day Jobs earned: 19 characters (All available 15-24 [Heroes] or 25-29 [Villains])
18 Day Jobs earned: 21 characters (All available 10-14 [Heroes] or 15-24 [Villains])
17 Day Jobs earned: 20 characters (All available below 10 [Heroes] or below 15 [Villains])
16 Day Jobs earned: 1 character
6 Day Jobs earned: 4 characters (All available in Praetoria)
5 Day Jobs earned: 15 characters

If I stopped leveling or side-switching on all my characters, I would be done on 86 characters, and have from one to six left on the remaining 28 (including 17 characters which will be done next month.) But since I don't plan on doing that, I'll need to periodically get to work again on characters who get access to more (especially Praetorians coming to Primal Earth...)

You could argue this exact point in regards to the previous epic Achievement badges like Empath and Leader; they eventually did cave in and make changes. If they are willing to make changes on things that they previously had said that they would never change, who knows what the future holds?

Besides I don't think the Devs have ever told us they would never change ANY badge. I think if they are ever finally convinced of a need to change one they will. My point was that for most people a reduction for the Day Job badges would have made much more sense 18+ months ago. Unlike the silly too-high epics which very few people were able to get there's really no difficulty for the vast majority of players to be done (or almost done) with Day Jobs right now. There's no serious comparison between the two. My guess is that people who are currently done with Day Jobs probably couldn't care less if the Devs changed them at this point or not. *shrugs*

Then again I was one of those "dedicated" people who actually earned badges like Empath, Leader and Immortal -before- they were reduced. Ultimately I agree that those badges were reduced because for the most part they were ridiculously too high, but let's just say your point is semi-wasted on me.

I find your lack of signature disturbing.
I know that quite a few people did earn the old ones. My point was just that changes have been made before to badge amounts, and, I'm sure, that changes will made in the future to amounts needed. We just now have precedent.

The top end epic badges were finally reduced because virtually everyone came to agree the original requirements were ridiculously too high. For example there were serious mathematical estimates behind the idea that it would've taken the average player over 10 YEARS of continuous daily effort to earn the original Empath via "natural play". That was simply idiotic.
On the other hand I think you'd be hard pressed to make that same argument for Day Jobs, especially now that almost everyone who cares about them for their main badging characters very likely has them done already. Yes waiting 21 days (a value that was already a reduction for what it originally was in the beta) for a Day Job badge could be considered "annoying" to some people, but it's no where near as problematic as the epic badges were. Trying to compare the difficulty in getting these two sets of badges is like trying to compare night and day.
I'm not going to sit here and assume the Day Job badges will never change at this point.
But let's just say if they ever do get reduced I'm going to be incredibly surprised.

Well as of now every alt of mine that has alignment shifted to the opposite side has picked up the 6 alignment exclusive badges in addition to all the others. Guess it's time to contemplate starting the next wave.....or not. Pursuing DJ's does give a "retired" alt something to do at least but I'm not sure if I want to send them after the other 6 or just let them charge up the ones they have now.
Congrats to the OP on all the badges!!! Not sure how far I am away, I never kept that close of tabs on this but it shouldn't be much more than a month.
It looks like I'm on the opposite side of most people here. I always check each update/issue hoping that they'll add a couple new day jobs to each side and get continuously disappointed.
One Day Job that I always wanted them to add would be "Sportsman" or something like that. So far though, the only place that I can see to get that are the Basketball courts in various zones of Paragon City.
Another obvious one would be related to the sewer system.
Not sure what could be done with Villain side though to balance these two out though... Something with the Cage Consortium and Mining in Sharkhead and maybe something with the "Tent Towns" in various zones (outside the wall in Mercy Island for example)?

This is slightly off-topic but I just noticed the pic you have in your sig line. For your sake I hope the guy who's always wanted to name their character CyberRadical never sees it. It's impressive that you've managed to have a character made in this game roughly 4 years longer than the game's actually existed.

Since that "CyberRadical" has been offline so long, the name is open for use on the server so no one is missing out. I use the name elsewhere but that particular one is on a server I stopped playing on rather soon after launch.
I wonder what kind of Day Job bonus 11 years offline would provide...

Two day job ideas:
1. Log out in the base where hero/villain merits are redeemed for 21 days and the dayjob increases Tip Mission drop rate, or instead a chance of a tip mission being awarded upon completion of any mission.
2. Log out for 21 days and receive dayjob that either increases shard drop rate or instead awards bonus shards upon completion of any mission. As to where to log out for that....aside from standing next to the contact in Ouro I'm not sure where else would be fitting for this.

I'm halfway to my last redside-specific day job. I've been saving them up before I switch and had a plan to do the new redside arc for 'Keeper of the Coral Lore' and then follow it up with Usurper. When I do switch I'll get five DJs and 3 accolades bringing me up to 1162.
