I19's Greatest Hit

You may love the Incarnate System, you may adore inherent Fitness, you may be in need of a change of undies over the new TFs, level 20-30 stuff, or Primal Visitation Rights to Praetoria, but the REAL STAR of I19 is...

The Paragon City Monorail!

Hear hear.

... also I thought the biggest hit was getting pimp-slapped by a War Walker.

Personally I'd probably vote for 'quit to character select'.

Too many alts to list.

I'd agree if it didn't say 'account already logged in' every time and make me log in again.

It does that about 70% of the time to me, but I can just hit return -- I don't have to retype my password, anyway.

Return to Character Select felt useless to me. It takes two seconds to type your password and choose a server. Now if Return to Character Select only took 15 seconds to log out as opposed to 30 I'd love the hell out of it.

And I was fine getting around anyway, so the monorail wasn't a big deal at all to me.

However, what I found awesome from I19 are the new AE maps. Already I've found an awesome use for the Longbow Sea Base map, and have ideas for the other unique maps we've been given. Plus, Praetorian maps. C'mooon.

I agree. It was never a bother to me to retype my password and I live alone so the extra security wasn't necessary in my case.

It usually only does it the first time I switch in a session. And I agree not having to type the password makes it still worthwhile.

Quit to Character Select has not worked for me yet. Not even once. Every single time I either get the 'account already logged in' message, or 'you must enter your username and password' and the password box is empty.

This 'feature' sucks, and not in a good way.

Thiiiiis.

At least I don't have to type my password in again though.

Heck, zones with two monorail stations or two ferries, you can use them to teleport across the zone. How sweet is that?

I've never gotten that message when logging to the character screen.

As for the merged Monorail system, raise you hand if you still drop n O-portal at the Talos station... to get to Atlas Park...

For me it's all the new exploration badges.

I don't see the big deal with this. I still have to wait 30 seconds to log off and its not like it took me that long to type in my password.

For my I love the nurses in the Hospitals, now when I die I don't have to find a contact to get some more insp if I need them.

I can't be the only one who doesn't see the great thing about this. Okay, I'm not, I know of at least two others feel the same way.

But what exactly is the big deal about it?

Before, get to login screen, spend 1-2 seconds typing in the password, then at the character select screen.

Now, sure can save that 2 seconds, but only half the time, when it doesn't boot me to the login screen anyways, giving me a message that says "still logged in"

For me it's the two new TFs. But I have to say, everything I19 brought was flippin' awesome.

I like the Quit to Character Screen option a lot because my game likes to occasionally crash when I click on my server list. Plus, for me it works like...90% of the time. So I'm statisfied with that.

Merged Trams, love it, love it, love it!
Traveling made much easier, especially during TFs. Plus now my newly created characters who discovered a flaw or mistake in the costumes don't have to sprint all the way across Steel Canyon to Icon's only to be one shot by a random Tsoo 5 feet from the door. Or have to ask in broadcast if someone would SK me up or TP me to Icon's. Can just go to North Steel Station and run a very short distance to get to Icon's. Also, my Vigilantes can now actually be on TFs without having to be the last person on the map every time.

And Inherent Stamina is so good I don't really need to say anything about it.

Some people don't use an actual word for their password, they use a string of numbers and letters. It's a MUCH stronger password than anything resembling an actual word, but it can be difficult to remember and type correctly.

Also, a lot of people use copy-paste to enter their passwords, and taking screenshots erases whatever else was in the clipboard. If you play fullscreen or on a less-than-high-end computer, it can take a while to switch over to whatever file you keep your password in, if it's manageable at all.

Maybe not issues everyone faces, but severely annoying to those who do.

It's never worked for me, either.

I do. I've also gotten it on occasion after crashing to the desktop and logging back on.

I know someone has probably beaten me to it, but Wanted, you don't have to go to Steel Canyon Icon. Just trot over to Vanguard, and do your fixing there

Lisa-Has spent a lot of time there on level two toons.

Well, let's see. I love how easy and quick it is to get from Talos to Galaxy for a respec now.

Issue 19 and all it's respecs also opened my eyes to the beauty of /cleartray

/cleartray makes putting my trays in order after the respec sooo much easier.

I am enjoying all of issue 19

I've only had it send me back to the log in screen a couple times in all the switching I've done.

It's actually a nice feature for me because I do 95% of my playing on one server, and it puts you at character select on the server you logged out of.

Oh and another great part of the train merge... it's never been easier for a low-level hero to turn in event salvage! I don't know what it's like in the Isles, but blue-side this is a nice little bonus as well. You should have seen the wacky quest I sent those whippersnappers on: TP beacons, train stopovers, and a short breathless jog past +15 level Outcasts. Just because I didn't feel like waiting 20 levels for a 2nd costume. *Sigh...*

It was a fun day when I figured out how to do it though.

While that's not the biggest feature of i19 for me, I just got done getting all the Preatoria Underground badges and I was blown away by those maps. Really cool, very well done.
