Your favourite geek culture references in CoH?

So I head on down to take down the mad praetorian scientists Neuron and Anti-Matter, and find myself getting assisted by Lt. Harris, Sgt. Maj. Day, and Sgt Fillion of Vanguard. Not only was the reference a nice touch, but Vanguard kick *** when they're on your side.

The devs like to sneak them, or just cram them, in there from time-to-time, so what are your favourite in-game geek culture references?

Personal favorite before it was changed was during the beta were the market was set to be introduced. On villainside the truck that was used for the black market was designed to look like Generation 1 Optimus Prime's truck mode. The license plate was a nice touch too, I think it read Opt2357.

The exploration badge "Grim Fandango" near a pile of bones was a good one. Loved that game, classic!

I like the one in a mission with Freakshow and Nemesis (I think it's the weapon deal side mission in one fo the safeguards) where the Nemesis soldier says something along the lines of: "I assure you my good man Nemesis is down with the street, word up my homies".

Also I like the radio mission where you rescue Dr. Frank N. Scott even though I don't particuarly like Rocky Horror.

In Mercy, I it's still the red and blue version that looks like Optimus. One of my favorite references too.

Jake Emmet is funny because he is accused of nerfing the bad guys in that one Police Band mission.

The Television missions

The names of the neighborhoods in RWZ (There is most certainly a history buff working for Paragon Studios and I will find them!)

Agincourt (Again, there's Mr. History Buff!)

The Cimeroran Traitors' leader, Romulus Augustus (Another historical reference)

Oh, and "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than the Rogue Isles."

to TO THE END!
Villains are those who dedicate their lives to causing mayhem. Villians are people from the planet Villia!

The history stuff probably came primarily from Jack.

Was I12 (When Romulus was created) before the change from Cryptic to Paragon? I don't remember?

I work with a guy who looks like Doc Brown. Still haven't gotten him to shout out "Great Scott!" yet though.

Oh, yeah I love the Back to the Future references.

The last instructor in the blueside Invention Tutorial
and the "Back From the Future" badge.

Ah, also all the Revelation references in the LGTF (Especially the Four Riders)
And also "U'kon Gr'ai" because we all con grey to him!

The Cast Away tribute in Monster Island

And also surprised no one caught this one (Not even ParagonWiki): The 42 month veteran badge says "Forty-two. Could you be the answer to everything?"

My favorite so far is Operative Jenkins as a reference to Leeroy Jenkins.

Also, the Going Rogue references to Half-Life; most notably, the Lambda Sector neighborhood of Neutropolis and Mr. G.

As a Doctor Who fan, I love the radio mission to recover the Hand of Omega.

As a Babylon 5 fan, there's the radio mish to retrieve the Book of K'Gar.

Then there's the nod to Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, Archmage Tarixus tells you while forging the Blackwand that "blood is compulsory."

And there are others I've contributed to the In-game References on the Paragon Wiki.
