- Dark_Respite runs a mean Khan TF.
- Golden_Girl is not a person, but a title. In every light there is a shadow.
- Santorican is contagious.
- Techbot once made my head explode from the sheer awesomeness of a post; he put it back together with Elmer's Glue.
Dechs Kaison becomes so vocal about his favorite sets that both Dark Armor and Warshades receive heavy "downward balance adjustments."

Troy Hickman, besides being frequently pant-less (or so he says), writes comics. One arc he wrote was for the City of Heroes comics that ran for a while after the game started - in his story arc, there was a character named Cyrus Thompson, who used to be a hero, but gave up because he was told he would (IIRC) basically fall apart if he used his powers (superspeed) too much more.
In the arc, he helps out the Freedom Phalanx, and in the end there's that statue to him in front of the Kings Row train station. However, it was until a while after that story (years, in the end) that the Developers put in the in-game statue we have (due to vocal fan support).

They were written by our very own Troy Hickman, and as with everything he writes they are very good.
You can also play the Ouroborous flashback arc "Smoke and Mirrors", which is the same story and also was written by Troy Hickman.
