Well, look at that Sam, you're wrong again. Excuse me for not wanting to bake my brain.

By the way, I don't own a car and I have a hatred for GPS anyway since it's nobody's business where I drive. Oh yeah, and no wireless mouse or keyboard either.
Oh noes!

The only way Sam could possibly answer this post would be if he replied with 5 interweb links proving that the Large Hadron Collider may destroy the planet, or that the millenium bug will doom us all, or that Swine Flu will kill tens of thousands...

waittaminute...!

The death toll for swine flu did reach tens of thousands, the problem was ... so does the ordinary flu each year. And Y2k was corrected in time, most of the older systems replaced because awareness about the bug had spread. The LHC? I don't think there were any real scientists that claimed the world was going to go boom. At least one of my articles is written by someone with a Ph.D in environmental health.

Umm these sources seems to be blogs and opinion sites not research studies. http://www.rense.com in particular shouldn't be mistaken for amore than a tabloid type news site.

In short they seem to add up to "We can't rule out the possibility of risk," Nottingham's Challis says." All Better safe than sorry stuff.

I could find as many link supporting the the moon landing hoax thoery. Its not enough to have a web page to support your viewpoint

A more scholarly link would be http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/f...isk/cellphones which has references, more detailed descriptions of thier studies etc.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

Your favorite in-game faction are the Luddites, right?

The character description box. It's been broken since I started playing. Trying to use this thing is like a mini-game in itself. Backspace, backspace... wait, where'd the cursor go? Why is nothing I'm typing showing up? Oh wait, it got inserted three lines up in the middle of a sentence. Yeah, you can copy & paste into it, but it kills me that we have this amazingly complex game and yet this seemingly simple text entry box is beyond fixing.

I am kind of partial to their modus operandi, but I like the Circle of Thorns more.

Well, they're pretty primitive too

"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill

Master Illusionist phatasms and decoy phatasm survive when she is defeated, while players one disappear when player is defeated.

Same for NPC caltrops, earthquakes, and so on.

Actually, for the player, while the Phantasm disappears, the Decoy Phantasm sticks around.

The Circe of Thorns are the last remainder of a once-great civilization, struggling to retain their cultural identity in the face of a world that has irrevocably changed. The correct world is "post-apocalyptic".

(Also, given that you approach the game from a "what would I do in this situation?" angle, it worries me slightly that you'd just dismiss an entire culture as "primitive" like that.)

Also, thugs from [Gang War] will stick around after the player dies.

CoT maps with the stick torches that will always stop you dead in your tracks.

The large maps, but tiny caves, that a character will be brought to a standstill by a simple tiny rock (Grr, lift your stupid foot - duck your head)

They're pretty medieval, so that makes them primitive compared to the normal game world

Anything that wants to kill me but killing it garners no rewards. Rikti soldiers from portals, Tuatha pets, those stupid gun drones that stick around forever, BP shaman pets, etc. If I need to make something dead, give me credit for it.

Yeah, I know a lot of it was to prevent farming certain mob types but I still hate being punished for it.

Oh no, I very much blame the devs for that. They tell me it's the farmers fault? I call Bee-Ess! The farmers ain't the ones coding these things. Where's the reward for that risk, hmm?

Also, I don't like it when someone punishes me for something someone else did. Totally not fair. Heck, the devs should punish themselves for that!

The reward for that risk is simply "elsewhere." To cite one example, you get that big gob of XP for Oranbega portals, which encourages slamming them down asap, and that XP makes up for the Behemoths not being worth anything.

Sounds fair to me...

I was not aware that, if you should destroy that portal before you defeat the demons, and the demons then defeat you, that you would get no debt.

Good for you to clear that up!

YES. Yes, yes, yes. In all my years of playing, this is still the thing that bothers me the most. Can't there be a "Range" option on target next Enemy? Please?

Anything to help the willfully obtuse.

Shut the door fast enough and the demons don't have enough opportunity to beat on you and bring it to that point, do they?

And also, framing the argument in terms of debt? Really? You just waived your right to be taken seriously in my book.
