Tell me LISAR, what exactly is wrong with expecting people to say "I am sorry" when they admit to a mistake? I would argue that the real wrong is accepting half of an apology when it could be a full and appropriate apology by adding that statement. Didn't your parents teach you to do just that, say "I am sorry" when you were wrong? I know mine did and I teach the same to my own children, it is only right after all.

Nothing is wrong with that expectation. But coming across as whiny is really lame. So you owe me an apology for being lame. I guess you can apologize to Lisar too, but I deserve it more.

When its something he may not have had any control over no I don't expect a sorry. Its enough to admit he was wrong.

You MunkiLord, will get an apology from me when you follow LISAR's rather disgusting suggestion. Of course, then I would have to have you arrested for SA.

Actually, as this as the internet, we're all entitled to it - and everything else too.

And now we return you to your regularly scheduled OMG ALPHA SLOT.

With them talking about climbing the Incarnate "ladder", I wonder if the two new TFs in I19 will eventually drop stuff needed for the next slot in I20? And then the new Incarnate content in I20 will eventually drop stuff needed for the 3rd slot?

My dad actually got tired of hearing "I'm sorry." He'd much rather hear "I was wrong." But I suppose you want both. Unless that's wrong, then I'm sorry.

Personally I hate hearing sorry. Seriously, half the time people don't mean it so save your words

So if he was wrong to say sorry, should he apologize for it, or would that be wrong?

I hope one of the Incarnate slots finally gives us those visual sounds they promised us a couple years ago.

So do I - I think they'd be a rather neat option to have

so at the top tier we are looking at a 30% recharge increase to your powers (45%*.66 no-ed'ed ( most of my stuff is at ed cap as it is )) that's not too shabby. I see my blue bar taking even more of a beating.

We are, climbing, Incarnate's, ladder;
We are, climbing, Incarnate's, ladder;
We are, climbing, Incarnate's, ladder;
Soldiers of the Well.

Every, round goes, higher, higher;
Every, round goes, higher, higher;
Every, round goes, higher, higher;
Soldiers of the Well.

Mender, do you, love my, hairpiece?
Mender, do you, love my, hairpiece?
Mender, do you, love my, hairpiece?
Soldiers of the Well.

If you, love it, why not, serve it?
If you, love it, why not, serve it?
If you, love it, why not, serve it?
Solider of the Well.

OK, that went a bit creepy; and while I'm not as happy with the third verse, one of the few things we seem to reliably know about the far future is "dramatic hair is important". Perhaps "slotting" would be a more mundane fit than "hairpiece". We don't know what sources of inspiration the devs are drawing on, and I'm certainly not sure what *mine* are, that "just popped in there"

I wonder if these Incarnate slots are all going to apply a level shift? This looks suspiciously like World of Warcraft's gear-based advancement at the level cap.

The Judgement slot amuses me, though. So that why Statesman gets to have that stupidly overpowered lightning attack.

Happy to hear about the friendy-grind to get the shards...
I hope we get at least 2 Incarnate leves with I20. And I hope one of them is the new AoE power that come in different flavours.

I'm not the person you were asking, but I can tell you what was wrong with your comment from my perspective. Your implied tone and word choice were far more condescending and rude than any imagined slight on the part of Positron. You literally implied he lacked the manners of a child. Not cool.

We are trying to make PvP more accessible to new players, while giving experienced PvP'ers the advantage that comes with formulating tactics around the new systems we're putting in place. PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.

It's okay, you're doing an excellent outstanding job and I haven't enjoyed this game this much in years.

Now step browsing the forums and get back to work.

That's why I always say "sorry" about trivial things, and "I apologize," "my apologies,"
or some variant for serious things I feel deserve one. Sorry doesn't seem to carry
the same weight, unless you're able to say it with sad doggy face.

Apologize is an awfully big word for many people nowadays though, especially online
in today's tl;dr culture. So I guess I might not even be understood to begin with.

Overpowered? Nah. I recall Babs once mused about the proposed "Reformat Server" as overpowered......

Exactly this. As it is, Positron said something that I don't remember Statesman saying. In his reign it would have been more like "the dance emotes didn't fit our vision, but don't worry, they are being revamped into something much better that you'll see very soon". Then we'd get two dance emotes in issue 30.

I'm curious about the Justice slot and it's associated upgradable AoE power(s). More just how they'll work. Not all of us have characters that fit throwing around big energy blasts and stuff. Natural/unpowered characters, or weapon users, etc... doesn't really fit the theme for my golden age knife-nut adventurer to suddenly whip out an energy blast. I'm hoping there will be effects or animations that feel powerful, yet fit someone who isn't all blasty.

The thought that comes to mind is like throwing a storm of shurikens or something.
