Why would you expect them to be equal?
I dunno, because it requires pre-requisites? I would understand an increased endurance cost for equal resistance--that happens a lot with similar powers--but increased endurance for half of a comparable power's function? Not reasonable, in my book.

Why would you expect a Controller to have better resistance than my SR Scrapper?

I wouldn't have the slots necessary to beef Tough up enough on my planned build to make it worth taking.

The dev diary from Black Scorpion today has a little more info on what the powers are being designed for:

Quote:
"We also have new raid encounters which will be the key to powering up those additional slots with their own abilities. These encounters will be released over time as well, giving players fresh challenges to try out their god-like abilities upon."
They did say back at PAX East when the first Incarnate details were released that the main Incarnate content was going to be zone events/raids, but I think it's good that they've reconfirmed it now so that players can have some idea of where the system is going.

Ok having looked at it in Beta...it looks fairly solo friendly.

Shard will drop from anything level 50, so just grinding away is fine and you don't have to do Taskforces to get any of the salvage.

Even upgrading is solo friendly, it'll just take you longer.

I only regret that I wasn't able to get this out in a timely manner when there where still concerns that the alpha-slot was going to be unachievably grindy.

Apologies to Nethergoat if he's offended by his inclusion in this song.

So much for the Isles. And maybe Longbow.

This may be wrong place to post this, but is this incarnate stuff REALLY end game 'content'? Aside from a couple TF's, which not everyone has time for. All it looks like is end game crafting to me? When they expand the incarnate stuff, will there be more content to match, or just a couple more tf's? I know they say preatoria will expand, but I see that being a longggg time away.

Just seems they are doling out shiny stuff and avoiding expanding real content for 50's. Basically riding the wave till the wind dies in my opinion.

Just wondering if people are satisfied with end game direction and pace or not? I mean how old is the game, yet they seem to just keep throwing in pretty things and no real stuff for 50's to play......aside from the new grind for incarnate salvage.

As usual, this is just my opinions, and you are entitled to your own!

Flame on! Lol
