Important Information
We've had on-and-off reports about people having the tracker hang at "Retrieving character info" and getting "Operation timed out" without ever being able to send updates to City Info Tracker.
Since Titan Sentinel does not track titles or super group names at this time, it was programmed to download your characters' CIT profile pages and get that information to keep it from getting cleared when updates were sent.
Unfortunately, with the popularity of Titan Sentinel, City Info Tracker can't keep up with it!
The temporary fix was to prevent the tracker from accessing character pages. This should fix the problem of people being unable to track characters online, but the side-effect is that now all character titles and super group names will be cleared when the tracker is used.
Development on City Info Tracker's upgrades are ongoing, so this shouldn't be a problem for very long. We appreciate your patience in the mean time.

We've been having some serious issues with the prerequisite logic that was put in place a while back since I18 introduced alignment switching. Upgrades are in work, but until we can roll those live, we have to do what we can to work around the prerequisite logic.

We'll see what we can do about that, but in the meantime your SG can still be added if you fire up HeroStats long enough to send an update to CIT. (At least, that should do the trick.)

Thank you very much! Saying this an infinite number of times wouldn't be nearly enough. Besides the sheer awesome functionality it provides, I'd also like to thank you for the app having a small footprint (this being important to me as I run a lot of tools at once). If I remember correctly both HeroStats and Glycerine took much more resources. |

The temporary workaround that's in place right now will probably clear your supergroup info rather than updating it.
I like my supergroup page as much as anyone, so I promise we are looking into it.

I have to let this thing connect to an online site and send info from my PC to it?
Hm. Without wanting to sound critical or gift-horse-looking-in-mouth-iof-ish (since i can see how cool this is for people who don't mind connecting to third-party sites), is there anything like it that works purely 'offline', as it were? I'd love an automatic badge-tracker of some kind, but I'd rather not have to have another login + password cobo to manage.

If you want to run the tracker without logging into CIT, you will still be able to see your character's details (Name, Global, Server, Zone, Origin, Archetype, Alignment, Level, XP, Inf, Primary, Secondary, APP/PPP, Bio), and export your current build into Mids' planner. You will also be able to list all of the badges you've earned by opening your personal info window. The badges and character data just won't be reported anywhere for tracking.

Dark/Shield Build Thread
Adding an image:
In the Character List (My Account -> My Characters), click on the "Edit Character" button to the right of the character. You should see a link on the right side under "Character Avatar" that says "Upload a Custom Image".
Badges not showing up:
That one I don't know. Would you be able to start a thread over in the Tech Support section of the Titan boards where we can gather some data and dig into that?

Side note/question:
I went through and added all my toons' badge counts to CiT (since it's fast & easy now )....however, my main's badge counter (Energizing Ion) is off by 2.
In CiT it says I have 977 badges, but on live I only have 975 badges. I have done the /info window and clicked on the badge tab and the Sentinel program shows 975 badges listed but when I send the data....the website still shows 977 badges. o_O
Any thoughts/suggestions and/or an easy way to fix this?

However, I too have seen this problem? Where are those extra badges coming from?

The CIT backend before we got ahold of it seems to be making decisions as to which badges should be granted based on other badges already having been earned. We still haven't been able to find out exactly why it's happening, but we are looking into it. The fact that badges are usually added at times when the character is not even online is particularly puzzling.

I have imported/exported all 30 toons now, and I love it! The Badge tracking is amazing! One click!
I have to ask this, knowing the likely answer. Will it ever be possible to IMPORT a MID's build into LIVE servers, say while doing a respec? And yes, I realize the complexity of that question :P
EDIT : Also, it won't read characters from the TEST/BETA server. Is this intentional, or does that mean i19 will break it?
I used to list my 50's here, but now there are too many, and I don't think anyone cared in the first place :P
