Well we all suspected City Vault was dead, and the Incarnate system sounds like it will not be really for solo/duo players judging by what you said.
That's to bad.
I think we were told issue 20 was a major graphics overhaul, and we get animated fingers finally and thus the end of mitten hands. Guess the meet and greet will answer some questions.

Any source about this?
Would be awesome to have an avatar upgrade as well as new power icons, get rid of the old citizens, new modern menus and interfaces and more QoL.
Why would I buy a booster pack with auras when I cant get rid of the crappy FX of some powers? I just dont understand the point of the devs sometimes.

Pool and APP/PPP powers have an extra complication, codewise, in that you don't select them at start and you can change them around.
Someone asked about the Vualt? The confirmed that dead... year ago?

Yeah, they keep saying pool customization is not a priotity since I16...
I20 will be next year and still not a priority. But the forums are full of people asking for it, if that is not a priority what it is? If they dont want to work on it because takes time and resources, at least fix hasten giving us a non FX animation, same as they did with the silly chest beating of integration from the regeneration secondary set for upcoming I19. |

I'm imagining something like an AV with a mag-1,000 self-immobilize and a mobile, invincible Triage Beacon. We'll have to use lots and lots of knockback to keep them apart, or something.

It was a lot of fun to work on but don't expect literary brilliance.
Also, I've never heard anything about Issue 20 being a major graphics update aside from the fact that it's a popular theory among the community.

PP and APP customization was VERY noted. They know we want it, they want to work on it, they just can't give a timeline.
In the first 'powers' roundtable everyone discussed dopplegangers for about 10 minutes. Nothing is in the works but they've noted our interest in seeing more of it. (Interesting trivia: Originally Phantom Army was supposed to be a set of clones of yourself but the tech didn't exist)

I'd love to see Power Pool Customisation and Ancilliary Pool Customisation aswell. But to be honest I'd rather they finished all 10 levels of the incarnate stuff first.

I personally must agree with this. This game needs new content bad. And not more whack-a-mole design like the original Positron TF. It needs more interesting, varied and thoughtful content.
I'll take power pool customization if it's offered but I'm not here on the forums clamoring for it. And I don't think there are "a lot" of folks asking for it either. Just some very vocal ones. The devs are right on track, imo. Big end game content is exactly what's needed right now.
Unless I heard wrong and it was another game, I think it was told in the New York Comic Con one.

And given that WE JUST HAD A GRAPHICS UPDATE IN APRIL, I don't see them doing another one for a few years, much less in Spring 2011.

Problem solved, for 30 seconds. DF recharges in about 20 when slotted for it. So problem re-solved until it goes away.

The only thing they mentioned about future graphics changes was the possibility of separating our avatar fingers - but War Witch said that while that would be quite easy to do, the fact that players would then ask for/expect the fingers to be animated too means it's a lot more work than just splitting the current hands into fingers and thumbs.
Nothing that's been mentioned about I20 so far has had anything to do with graphics.
