Information on: City Of Sidekicks???

Love,
Mishii!
I'm finding these napkin notes extremely cryptic. Not sure what several of these items mean, particularly: "Animated (nearly) everything;" "New cuztomizable features;" and "City Of Sidekicks???"

Aeon is the contact...

It involves him running a power armor fashion show in Atlas Park, Black Scorpion tags along because Silver Mantis wants to see them...

The Luddites attack, plant bombs and hold Scorpion hostage with.. enchanted fingercuffs.

You rescue him to encounter a new big bad of the Luddites, Jedidiah Dogge.

I only WISH I was joking.

Another fasion show ark cool. I rather liked the runway map.
Oh, the other one is in the oro task-force by the way.

A sidekick "pet" would fit in with the idea of the Incarnate system, which make players on the same level as the NPC Incarnates, so once someone was that powerful they might start training a new hero as their sidekick.
A sidekick pet would probably be added to the agme at the same time as MM pet customization, as they'd be using the same basic tech for custom pet costumes.

The pets briefly outlined in that accidental slip of the incarnate first five slots (which went to normal test, not closed beta--so it's fair game to discuss here IMO) were all praetorian enemy group based: ie. a praetorian clockwork pet.

Honestly, this appeals very little to me as I tend to enjoy tight themes and concepts build-wise, especially when it comes to something as overtly aesthetic as a pet. But incarnate pet customization would be the bee's knees IMO if I could not only name my pet as MMs do, but select its power sets (or at least the aesthetics), modify the colors of said power sets and create a complete costume for my pet/npc sidekick using the CC.

And to make this wish list even MORE unlikely, would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if the costume of said hypothetical incarnate pet was tied to my costume slot, allowing me to customize that "sidekick's" appearance to match my character's varied looks.

Greedy. I know.

So this is a few days late, but it's taken my a couple days to recover. (Turns out Indian food at 1 AM after a bunch of different kinds of booze, then going to bed, doesn't do so well for my tummy.)

Still I had a blast. I say this every year and I'll continue to say it: Once more I was so impressed with just how awesome the developers and staff of Paragon studios are. They give up their time, come to this event, answer tons of questions in the pannels or just mingling but they are all so nice and friendly, I'm jealous I don't work with a group of people this cool. Seriously, the devs are fantastic, so thank you guys for your time!

Also, who ever decided to make this the night we do daylight savings time so I got an extra hour of sleep before work in the morning, PURE GENIUS!

Seriously, I had a great time, if you get a chance to go to one of the meet and greets with Paragon studios, go, they don't dissappoint.

Now realy it's quite obvious if you think about it with the fashion show ark the neglected power to end all powers will be Walk. It's a covert mission where you have to strut your stuff.

Nah it's just wishful thinking.

That's what I had envisioned for Masterminds back in the day, actually. I was terribly disappointed with what we ended up getting. At the very least we should've been able to choose what the group looked like instead of being stuck with pre-chosen toons.

It would be beyond awesome to be able to create an entirely new character to be our sidekicks, making a tailored-to-suit companion. Robin for Batman, Speedy for Green Arrow, Bucky for Captain America, Krypto for Superman. (God, I'd love to have a superdog sidekick! And I know the hordes of catgirls would love supercats as sidekicks.)
