I dont think you understood me.
I got all the origin packs, + wedding,+ Mac edition.
There were some requested pieces for those packs, like Organic armor with skin for mutant pack, that could be added to this Origins booster.
Cyborg pack didnt had a costume change emote neither...
Those kind of things could be added to this pack so we can have a better boost to our original boosters.

5 capes and 10 auras. Several of each will be perfect for some of my alts.
$9.99 USD. Same price as the other super boosters, but a bit less variety in what i get.

Close call, but this is another pack that i almost certainly will be purchasing. Mostly for the auras, but a couple of the capes are something i've wanted for certain alts for a long time.

i definitely like this pack more than the last one.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

But why not strive to have those things added to the original boosters? Makes a lot more sense to me.

Unlike the last booster i'm going to get a lot of use out of this pack. I was already planning costumes before i'd finished watching the trailer. Two thumbs up. (b^_^d)

I would pay $10 for this more readily than the Party Pack.

10 Auras and 5 Capes = 15 Costume pieces.

And if I read correctly; there's an option to make Aura's normal or combat specific?!? Is that something that is coming to us because of the pack or independent of it?

[Having these available at lvl 1 is awesome (despite arguments against); being that we're paying $10 for it]

How specific?

Actually, Superman is Natural origin. ANY Kryptonian exposed to ANY yellow sunlight gains super-powers. No chemicals or experiments needed!

We already have that option.

I dunno if this answers your question, however it was stated that once this "pack" has been purchased and applied to said account it will be available for your characters from the start.

So yes you will be able to apply these from level 1 in character creation.....

I know from having purchased the "Cyborg" pack that the Auras can be set to either be on all the time or only for combat. It will say so when you choose the aura itself.

Ten bucks is high for something that only contains 5 new capes and 10 new auras compared to the previously Origin Themed packs (where were very much worth $10). You would have thought Marketing would have learned their lesson with the failure of the overpriced Party Pack. Few bought it because it was overpriced. This pack will suffer the same fate.

Since Issue 18 (last issue). At the tailor, at the end of each aura's list of various options you'll find all the same choices with the combat mode option.

I can't help but notice you assume the party pack was a failure.

Yep, it makes more sense to me too, but people already requested that a while back, so you better dont hold your breath.
Now we got a chance if we push this a bit.
It makes perfect sense too,
We got the wolf tail pushin a bit with the mutant pack... Why not with this?

I agree with you on the price, but I doubt it'll do as bad as the Party Pack (if that indeed did bad at all). This pack is a lot less niche than the emote only pack.

You heard it here, folks! The big secret for I20 is the Suburban Zone, where everybody gets a free mini-base in the form of a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath house with a front lawn! Also introducing the "Holiday Sales Event at the Mall" Task Force for Heroes, and the "Take Out the Noisy Neighbors" Strike Force for Villians.

[EDIT] Furthermore, if you continue to make the assertion that issue 19 is nothing more than tacked on additions that they couldn't add to the release because they "rushed it", then that logic also applies to the first 18 issues doing the same thing for heroes and the past 12 for villains. Which is just silly.

Honestly, I wondered if this might include any such thing... Since some wings have an aura tied to it (Burning Wings and Faerie Wings both have a second option that include wing auras).
It could be rather cool... In my opinion!

I completely agree.

Well, MOST of the people on the forums were vehemetly against the party pack. It's not horribly illogical to assume that only a small portion of the playerbase bought it... I've seen a handfulll on virtue who have it, but that's about it.

I dunno if that classifies as a "failure" though. If the Devs set the earmark for only a hundred or so purchases, then i'd still think it's safe to assume they met that goal. However, if they assumed over half the playerbase would buy it, then i'd be hard pressed to beleive that they succeded (without seeing their numbers, anyway).

Conversely, this pack has received a slightly warmer welcome so far. Still a good number of peoplel who say they won't get it, but those who say they WILL get it seem a bit more enthusiastic. So i think this pack will do just fine =)
