I don't think I'm alone in my belief that emotes are vastly inferior to auras. Emotes are by definition narrow in scope (and especially emotes that don't have a clear and obvious relevance in a super-hero setting -- seriously, dance emotes?). You can play the game all the way through without touching a single emote. By contrast, auras and costume pieces can be visible full-time. It's all fluff, but not all fluff is created equal.

I can't wait for this. There are SO many characters that will get use out of these and I may even make a couple to take full benefit. If this came with some kinda buff for the origin only powers like Mutagen or Apprentice Charm that would make them viable in an attack chain later in the game, then that would be PERFECT.

Origin pack alone < $6 = me buying
Origin pack + "free" Party Pack < $10 = me buying
Origin pack alone > $6 = me not buying

I'm buying it the moment it's released. Pal's either getting a gold and blue colored atomic aura, or silvery runes - it's too early to decide which.
I'd be willing to pay a little extra for the quality that's just overflowing from this pack, so $10-15 is reasonable to me. The only thing that would make this even better would be if we could have natural auras, and not just nature - but then, natural heroes probably wouldn't have an aura in the first place.

If it had a power I'd buy it. No power I might spring for it but I dunno. I love that runes aura though.
Those are very nice, unfortunately I can't see any of my characters using them so I probably won't buy it.
Man, coulda used this pack this last weekend for the PERC Mr & Ms Paragon Universe Contest with my Infinity server character, Autumn Knight; the autumnal cape & aura would've completed the look perfectly.
Regardless, I have several other characters that these auras and capes will do well with.
Answer me these questions three (OCR and/or Black Pebble):
- WHAT is the exact date of the release? (better be no later than Nov 2nd!
) - WHAT is the price? (Marketing, don't sit there with that smug look and little dollar signs in your eyes *SMACK*
Get us a true value price! $6-$9 would be within my personal, reasonable price median.) - WHAT...is your favorite color? No, wait...
That looks cool. I'll be getting it.
Oh, and for those dissing the Party Pack... having an emote where you can grab your crotch at strangers is worth $10. Just sayin'.
I like the atomic aura, more capes... eek not really a cape person. More costumes would be BETTER! More than Likely I'll get this... as for the party pack... I got one for free then my gf saw me use it on my Demon MM and well... of course she thought it was "cute" so had to get one for her too... It's all good, by supporting these lesser boosters it allows them to do more...
It's better to save the Mystery, than surrender to the secret...

The whole point of being natural is that you're natural - so you wouldn't have any visible aura.
Like Batman is natural - he's just a human being, and although he projects an aura of being a tedious over-rated jerk, that's only a feeling you get from him - it's not actually a physical thing you can see.

The auras look awesome! The capes, meh, I'll never use them but I'm sure other people will.
However, just capes and auras? Is it just me or have the booster packs been getting smaller and smaller lately? I'm hoping this wont go the full 10$ like the other boosters and be less like the party pack.
If they want to sell this at the full price of the booster, I feel it needs something else. This pack is just screaming for a few costume change emotes.

Question:
Since these are not tied to your characters origin, do you still only get to pick one of the 5 capes per character with the 2 auras, or do you unlock all of them for all characters?
So lets say
Character X logs in, do i get a prompt to pick 1 of the 5 origins (similar to the vet rewards powers)?
Charatcre X logs in and go to the tailor and has all 5 origins unlocked?
I can think of more than a few ideas for those auras...
