I'm not going to debate the PP's merits here (that's been done to death), but unlike the PP I will be purchasing this (provided the price is not out of whack).
Most of the capes are quite nice, but it's the Atomic Aura and the two magic ones that seal the deal for me. I'm assuming all auras are fully tint-able?
I think it looks great, especially the steam and sparks auras. I could really use those, and the tech cape looks great too. Heck, it all looks great, and at least we get two of them for free: fireflies and the snowflakes I imagine were the original Natural auras?

I can't tell from the video, but are snowflakes & the cryogenics aura the same/modified from each other or are they distinct, separate auras?

Auras look good, capes... undecided. Mutant aura looks like fire a little too much, but we'll see.

Just thought over these auras as well as how a lot of the older auras got revamped.
So... Atomic Aura, combat activated on fists? 
If that can be done, I am SO there. I mean, I'll be buying this pack anyway, but if that particular version can be done... wow.

*grins* You could always put the Flies aura on a Natural character for having gone Natural a bit too long...
I will be getting this - somehow. More gorgeous filming possibilities.
EDIT: BTW, kudos on the video - it was a nice touch seeing the origins in settings that were actually appropriate to the origin, instead of sticking all of them in Atlas Park or on some generic mission map.

Yeah, I've seen just about enough.
After the backlash over the Party Pack, I thought they'd ease up for a bit. I guess not.
When the Party Pack was released I vowed not to buy another pack until the devs shaped up, no matter what it contained. I don't care if it tripled Tanker damage, allowed me to throw cars around in game or even if it freakin' mixed drinks and brought them to me.
But the devs haven't shaped up. They're getting worse.
If I wanted to constantly have a hand outstretched looking for MTs, I'd play F2P games. You know, those games that don't also have a sub fee. You don't get to double dip if the content in the issues people are paying for suffers, and is has in my opinion, very much so. There's been a marked decline in the past two years since these packs started. In fact, one could call it triple dipping because they JUST asked people to shell out for a major expansion and they have yet to deliver on some of the features.
As a customer, it's not my responsibility to care about a company's financial woes. I know how bad the economy is. That's why it's very annoying constantly being asked for more money, especially for stuff that is overpriced (Party Pack) and that they had no business charging extra for (Open Present emote, GR Complete Items).
Devs: you're quickly burning through your customers good will and taking for granted that some want to help support the game. If and when that comes home to roost, I'll have no sympathy. If you're looking for a backlash about the pack, here it is. Otherwise, feel free to continue ignoring similar sentiment; I'm sure I'm not the only one not amused by these shenanigans. Either way, it's getting close to the holidays, the end of the year and also the end of my sub. I'll be voting with my wallet.

Also, with a spandex-themed console game offeirng co-oeprative online play coming out soonish having limited avatar customization, it doesn't really hurt for CoH to keep adding more and more customization to emphasize the gulf in class

Thank you for the photos and video. My compliments to the design team as these do look nice.
However I shall be giving this a pass. Having hit the milestone of 50 level 50's, I find that the cape from the magic booster pack plus the auras already in game are enough for me.

I'll definately be getting this, I have a couple of high level characters whose 5th costume slot has been waiting for something cool like this.
I love the new auras and capes- not having to wait till level 20 and 30 to use them rocks

Please tell me that I am wrong in my assumption that If all of my characters are Tech origin(I know where all the tech stores are) that if I purchase this pack, those will be the only ones available to my character.
That should not be the case, and i hope it is not. Being a villain never stopped me from wearing the Cape of the four winds, and Being a Hero never stopped me from wearing the Arachnos cape/chest emblem.
If that is the case, I will pass.

I'll happily buy this pack. I like the choices. I didn't like the Party Pack, so I didn't buy that. It's really not any more complicated than that.
Packs are not a harbinger of the end of the game.

I am really getting sick of this disgusting 'entitlement' attitude people have anymore. Get over it. If you don't want something, because you don't think it's worth your money.. well then don't buy it.. This constant, "Well.. I'd buy it, but it would need this.. and some of that!" is getting old.
Not to mention the empty threats, "Won't add what -I- want? Fine, I'm leaving!" It's just childish. Grow up! Want to actually make a point? Leave quietly. That actions speaks louder than a selfish rant on the forums.

I can think of at least 10 of my characters who can make use of those auras. I'll definitely be picking this up in November!
