So we not getting any free new costume with next issues?

Yeah, OP's getting off light from my experience.

Whats the term? Forums require a thick skin.
You haven't been lynched in the least, you haven't even been attacked.
You've been attacking everyone that doesn't agree with you left and right though.

You wanna get flamed real good to see the difference, try making a suggestion in the player question sub-forum about... well about anything.
You'll see. This has been a 'walk in the park' thread compared to some I've seen lately.

Animated tails, meh... They still look pretty damn ugly and old, animated or not. Look at the fox/wolf taild they added to the mutant pack. I see a difference.
Pistols are weapons, I love having more models but they only work for specific powersets.
Is hard to understand I meant costumes?
Like vanguard, roman, enforcer... All that stuff we had before and not getting now in a long while.
Like Sport and Overguard?

That's true.

I can't check, since I got the complete collection but...

Do you have access to the new Clockwork and Resistance sets if you don't have GR?

Please, I'm curious, what gaps? I have my own list but most are minor items like necklaces, shorts for males, more hats.

And I understand your frustration with boosters. I've been wanting both dog tails and height adjustment but they were both stuffed into boosters. The wedding and magic packs have the best selection of snazzy costume parts from my point of view with science coming in third. But the temp powers like Ninja Run or gender bending/height changing edit modes frost me more than the costume parts found there.

However I can't complain when an honest to God expansion like GR gets costumes. Just like CoV did way back when, you don't own it, you don't get access to them. And the Mac, Good Vs Evil, Collectors editions costumes were marketing perks for buying those editions, a carrot for newcomers. Since buying and applying those editions also granted another month of subscription it was a minor price to pay for those "unique" pieces for existing players.

I tried to confirm it by logging into one of my old inactive accounts that I didn't buy GR for and found that they activated all the GR stuff for the reactivation weekend.

GR advertisement says Overguard, Clockwork, PPD, Resistance, and Sport, are part of the expansion, and the I18 info says the only costume items they added was the combat auras.

I think theres certainly some stuff missing for the costume creator.
Such as? "What holes" would be me asking for examples rather than vague complaints.

And theres big old stuff that could be upgraded because 6 years old costume pieces are showing their age, specially compared to newest pieces from boosters.
No doubt. But that does not make the costume creator "incomplete".

Thats obvious, all the games lacks some stuff or another.
No one's denying that. But, no game is perfect.

And I've done talking to you guys, theres no point keeping this discussion up.
I just dont like that you talk to me in that tone.
I dont care if Im permabanned, you were attacking me since my first post in this thread and Im not going to pass that.
Disagreeing with you does not equal attacking you. Figure that out and you'll find this to be a much friendlier place. Keep playing "Oh, I'm the poor victim of all you forum meanies!" every time someone doesn't agree with you, and you'll find this a very unpleasant place to be.

As an aside, is English your first language?

5 Sets required either the Expansion or Complete Edition: Sport; Overguard; Resistance; PPD; P.Clockwork.

2 Sets required the Complete Edition or the Item Pack: Alpha; Omega (and their corresponding Auras)

The only costuming I18 got was Combat Auras.

Out of curiosity, are the Combat Auras the old Aura's set to only activate in combat? I haven't played with them in a while, but if so, sweet!

Actually it gets boring after a while for me. It was nice that he did explain a few of the things that didn't make sense in his earlier posts. Still, his wailing that anyone who disagrees with him and/or points out inaccuracies and half-truths in his posts is attacking him has gotten really old at this point.

Although i never fail to be amused when someone posts that someone else should get educated in fractured, barely intelligible English.

You have the option. All the time or combat for the Alpha and Omega auras.

Combat auras have been expanded to include all auras not just Alpha and Omega.

Combat Mode Auras: Players now have the ability to all auras to "Combat Mode" Combat Mode Only versions have been added to the Tailor and Facemaker. These auras will only turn on when your character engages in combat.
You still need to unlock the other auras at level 30.

I did not know that, I thought it was just for the two new ones.

Nice, going to have to run some of my guys over to the tailor tonight.

I'm starting to wonder just how sheltered your lives are. Maybe it is because I live in Vancouver and have to deal with language barriers every single day because of the numerous cultures interacting within the city, but I don't think he said what you think he said.

I'm pretty sure he was essentially asking "how were you brought up?" with regard to what he feels is people being rude in the face of his ESL status. What he means is you shouldn't be rude just because you can be rude. I know, I know, it is an internet forum, so it is probably best related to the newest episode of south park regarding Nascar. If people took a second to understand what he is saying (a test of one's own intelligence if you will) then I don't think this thread would be progressing in any way, shape, or form, as it has.

FWIW I don't agree with everything he is saying. I understand his feelings though and I can understand his position resulting from them. What I'm having more difficulty understanding is the position the 'regulars' are taking. You may want to think about the reputation this forum has built over the years of being welcoming, friendly, and informative. Choosing to perform the last function while being a jerk sort of defeats the purpose.

In all fairness we got like eleventybillion costume bits with CoV (granted they were villain only for a while), while GR had an insignificant number in comparison.

I know a lot of people that were hoping for a closet update similar to CoV with GR and it unfortunately didn't happen. Boosters and existing options aside there are still a ton of things they could add to the costume creator without having to dip into the more obscure (and likely difficult to implement) areas that often get talked about.

He should try practicing what he preaches. You have to give respect in order to get respect. He was the first one to fire off insults. He was the one making threats (the whole "I petitioned you") and despite his behavior, everyone refrained from flaming him and stuck to pointing out that he was misinterpreting his "facts".

There's no point being welcoming, friendly and informative to someone who kicks the door open and starts throwing furniture at you.

that's called "stupidity".

*shrug*

/edit
and even so, folk here were largely *very* informative.
Shockingly, he wasn't receptive to their information. =P

CoV was also an expansion that was a whole lot larger than GR and as a result cost nearly double what GR did when it was released. I'd much rather pay a smaller price and get additional Praetorian levels and content in the upcoming free issues.

Agreed. Apparently we'll be getting access to some or all of the new Imperial Defense Forces costume bits in i19, and all i can say is "Do want!" Despite preordering the GR fancy edition i'll have no issues with GR being made free for all in a year or two if the Devs decide to do that like they did with CoV.

i guess i feel that increasing somebody else's fun will not significantly diminish mine.

Y'know, i think i've been one of the most directly critical of the OP's approach and attitude, despite sympathizing with his demands, and i'm pretty sure i haven't directly insulted him or called him names.

That was a missunderstood from someone that was at the panel.

Oh well, this will be another 'disappointing' issue for the OP.

Me? I'll be enjoying the all the new contents.

Let's see I-18 gave us an entire new zone(s) that give players new content and new enemies to battle between 1-20 level. It added the ability to become a Rogue/Vigilante.. something we've been begging to be able to do for years. As for costumes not associated with payed for packs we got clockwork, resistance and praetorian police outfits.

I-19 includes two brand new Task Forces (again new content) along with the start of the incarnate system. It moves the entire fitness pool into inherents .. and we have only been screaming to have stamina without wasting power picks for years. More power customization with many of the blaster sets now allowing us to pick how they will fire. Oh and now anyone can get to Praetoria through Pocket D .. Badge hunters everywhere are running through a series of /e dance emotes.

Sure we all like new options on how we look or dress but it seems to me like we've gotten quite a bit between Going Rogue and what's coming with I-19. I think I can manage to hold out using the outfits available NOW until Issue 20 or 21. TRY keeping in mind while its a game .. It's also a business and if they gave us everything we asked for in ONE issue what's left to add to make it more exciting after we all get bored with what we have NOW?
