I could care less if you moved in on my niches or I moved in on yours. Its healthy to occassionally move and good for the market as well.
For the record, I dont so much compete for profits within a niche as I crash it with bloody minded disregard for my competition so my opinion may be skewed.
Regardless though I bounce from niche to niche all the time with very little forethought so it wouldnt matter.

I have several toons working their own particular niches (sometimes for
months to years).
On the other hand, I only have ~10-50% market share in any of those niches,
so, there are other people in them already...
How do I know you're not one of them???

If it was me (since I specifically mentioned your name), then I wasn't
clear enough in my post..
The point I was trying to make was that people are already in the niches I'm in
(including you, judging by the 908's I've seen)... and we're still making inf
(at least, I am - can't speak for you of course, but I'd assume you are too).
So, I don't see any reason to adopt Enyalios' idea of sharing niche
information or co-operating which niches we're in... it's a non issue to me.

O.K. So no interest in making a syndicate (the correct term here....cabals are for power not money) to maximize our profits. Good to know. Someone make sure everyone knows that even though we made a SG together we don't cooperate on what we sell.
I'm not in it to lower prices through competition. I'm in it to make the 225B more I need for #1 on freedom.....or more likely given they are not an unmoving target the roughly 450B I'll need over the next 18 mos.
Eh I'd do a syndicate not like what I play in is a big secret.
I still haven't found any good ways to make more than 20-30M a day, but then, I'm still playing for small potatoes mostly. Not doing purples or anything.

I have done okay on the pet defense/resistance auras, too.
But yeah, I haven't checked as much as I should for just plain enhancements which enhance. Still, I think I'm past 1.2B total across all my toons, so it's okay. I'm rich enough that I'm offering 250M in rewards for a research project.
I had reason to check, today, just how much the 88s have in prestige. When I checked, I did the math.
94,118,139,000 inf destroyed.
