Hey Triumph players! something new for you to do!
Hmm... So you mean that you are making sure that badgers leave the zone by killing them?

PvP from now on will be on our priority list. If something isn't working out, we'll be in there tweaking it and making it work, for the entire future of the product, not just Issue 13.
Rv is almost as big of a myth as pvp on triumph D:
Ask people to write fanfics about their experiences in rv during the next month, you'll get m0ar people.

Its easier to catch people getting nukes in WB. unless its Tam on his Elec/therm. . . . thats not so fun, or easy
wuts RV?
Don't I know you???
MEh, there are certain PvP players that talk a bunch of garbage, spout off a bunch of crap online and on the forums, and then wonder why no one will PvP with them. It's not really too hard for me to figure out. Complaining about putting bullets in one's own feet is just silly.
go to RV moar >:O
its getting old when the lone badgers leave after getting killed once |
perhaps their pvp io farmers and are not even there. Maybe they didnt leave maybe they were already gone.
Perhaps its that no one wants to play with you?
Perhaps its that no one can pvp in rv when tams a cheater
perhaps its that no one can RPvp anymoar
perhaps its that triumph is dead
perhaps its because were all doing the IOP raid and no one invited you
perhaps its because there is no rv its be turned into freedom server
perhaps its gheynao
perhaps there is a reason i cant think of but i think its cause they were pvp io farmers

But QQ happens very *very* little in triumph RV. yea i griefed the badgers, but i didn't rub it in their face and degrade them in BC

Mostly, my examples happened years ago, when RV came out, there were a lot of people hunting for badges in PvP zones, which made the PvP people upset, causing things like hostile takeovers of Triumph Watch (and the QQing that came with it, incl. from me) and a whole rift in the community.
Eventually, a lot of Triumph's PvP community went to Champion, for better or worse. PvP on Triumph has had a negative stigma since, and the rift between the "badgers" and the "PvPers" is still present with a lot of players. Which is a shame. I don't think I13 killed PvP as much as the culture clash. Some people will blame the devs for putting badges in PvP zones, while others will blame the communities. In either case, it's a quagmire.
Personally, my mantra is "If you badge hunt/ farm in a PvP zone, expect to be PvPd"

That's also likely why my SG doesn't have the Fusion Generator Plans unlocked. While I'm willing to step foot in a PvP zone if it's necessary to get a badge, the rest of my SG isn't as badge-happy as I am. There's just nothing of interest for them in those zones.

Zone PvP can be a lot of fun if you can get enough people to participate. Too bad they *****'ed PvP with i13 though

Agreed. That's why it took me four and a half years to get Forward Observer and Disruptor.

I was in RV last night for an hour. PvPd a bit. Then I remebered that PvP is dead... and the server is dead. So I left.
Check out this!!!! http://www.youtube.com/user/LastRoninCoH/featured
As I have said before... PvP has NEVER been that popular on this server. Yes, there are those who engage in it. But, the vast majority of the population engages in casual PvP at best. And, any decent PvP that happens only lasts for about 5 minutes before the super leet people show up and start (essentially) harassing the casual PvPers with their "leet" skillz.
I think that the more casual PvP population on the server might actually be encouraged to participate more IF the hardcore PvPers backed off a bit... and maybe that might entail having a character that isn't so uber that the casual guys don't have a prayer. I mean, not all of us have the time to go farm all those uber IOs that some people have. And, not demeaning the people who get the uber IOs.
But, I dunno. I'm not really that much into PvP in this game so I guess it's not my job to figure out why the PvP zones are so dead.

I was in RV last night w/ my scrapper. I pwned all.
Then my Elude was about to crash, so I ran to hide in the hero base until Elude was back up.
I got to the base....
......then I realized I had switched sides to Villain about 2 weeks ago.......
I got severly PWNED for that blunder.....

I was in RV tonight. Seems like a few people were. Some were looking for AV badges, but others were looking to PvP. I was personally looking for some pillbox and heavy badges, and PvP spontaneously occurred. Imagine that. Coincidentally, it's easier to take down pillboxes when there's player opposition.
Thanks for the advice PC_guy
