Queued on Freedom..is this going to be normal?

At least you can still log on, keeps telling me the client is down, and I'm in the Eastern time zone. Torture I say, torture!
Oh and to answer your question, servers like Freedom are always packed liked sardines on release days. It's practically mandatory imo.

Yeah, but i've never seen this before (apart from in beta). Is the 'queueing' tech new? I remember just being locked out.

Maybe the server is full with all the new transfers.

We have 11 servers (NA) with identical content. If people choose to play in a sardine can then they have to suck it up and deal with the consequences.

If you think holding to that right now is just exceptionally stupid, I don't think most people expect it to stay this way, and don't want to be screwed once it finally dies back down.

In the meantime you can queue, or just make new praetorians on other servers (and use the free server transfers to bring them to your home server later.)

Play RIGHT FREAKIN' NAO > Wait 20-30 minutes to log in (if not more) and navel gaze.
And, once server load DOES go back down, HOW are they screwed?
They can still go to the server of their choice.
They can create a new character there.
They can transfer their current characters there.

Right now the servers show every server with two yellow dots except Virtue has three red and Freedom's full.
well hype, i cant get the shot, but freedom is grey virt is red and everything else is yellow.
I always love it when Freedom gets greyed out and the forums are dripping wet with the tears of impatient Freedom residents.
I've been looking forward to this all month.

EDIT: Actually, right now, Freedom and Virtue are still red, but all the others are yellow

The queues aren't even that bad. It's not even like "Ahh crap, I have to wait 20 minutes to play." It's more like "I'll go get a drink of water and be back to see my character screen, woo.

I don't think the queues are going to stay for too long though. Give it a few days to a week for the hype to die down a bit.
Why are people bemoaning this and not celebrating it? It means more people are playing the game! And it COULD mean that subscriptions have or will go up. That means more money and that means more content. I for one celebrate the greyed out Freedumb server!
I've been playing Virtue since the day I started, but now that there seems to be alternatives to Virtue and Freedom for a busy server playstyle, hopefully people will spread out a bit. :-)
I started on Infinity, branched out to Guardian for villains... then transferred all my villains to Justice and now... am playing on Guardian again. So, for me, there is never a time when my server of choice is unavailable (except some rare instances).
I always laugh when people claim that the ONLY server worth playing on is Freedumb. It wasn't true then, and it especially isn't true now.
