Gah, maybe it's the angle of the image but that looks down right horrible.

apparently the only real difference is that he doesn't have the giant jaw bone

And yes, I am quite sure that the image is an EARLY rendition and some additional passes of editing and design still need to be done. Especially with regard to the look of his costume... it looks like skin.
I'll have to see how much work they put into his personality and such. If they nail that down, I can accept a new design so long as they have the basics down.

Considering they just wrapped preliminary filming i doubt highly that this is a finished Kilowog.
Who's voicing Kilowog for the movie?

He supposed to look like a gargoyle/bulldog not a vampire man to bat transformation thingy...but yes its still early!
The head doesn't look that bad, but I don't like the skin costume.... I understand they are trying to show that the ring becomes part of the person but really it looks wierd that the green literally fades into the "red/pink/orange" of his neck. Also the area around the lantern emblem has his skin texture. It just looks a bit odd.
The movie version needs beadier eyes. And a bigger jaw.
Is Robert Z'Dar available he has an abundance of mouth-bits.
