"A great love is alot like a good memory. When it's there and you know it's there, but it's just out of your reach. It can be all that you think about. You can focus on it and try to force it but the more you do, the more you seem to push it away. But if you're patient and hold still...maybe...just maybe...it will come to you. I just need to be somewhere she can find me" - Church from Red vs Blue

Well, I like my main character, who is a scrapper, and probably play him more than any 2 or 3 others. He's my only scrapper since I figured I didn't need any others.

If we go by what I actually make a lot of, I have a ton of tanks and controllers - five of each at level 50, so far. I guess I like having the enemy do what I want.

Masterminds. Versatility is a big deal to me.

A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!

While I like playing all ATs, I do have 9 level 50 scrappers for a reason. ^_^

Jump in, flip out, and kill stuff!

Defenders. I have one of almost every type.

Defenders. Support the team and destroy your foes. What more could you want?

1. Dominators, you MAKE yourself invincible. Not by becoming immune to damage, but by making the enemies stop damaging. Then you smack them silly for even trying.

After that?
Corruptors/defenders/crabs/brutes/masterminds take second place, depending on my mood.

As things currently stand, gonna have to answer with Scrappers. Controllers and Dominators tie for a very close second.

If Dominators got martial arts and (non-elemental) weapons, I'd answer Dominators with no hesitation. Best of both worlds.

Masterminds, definitely. The lazy man's AT (& I mean that in a good way).

Sure you can set a gazillion key binds/macros for your pets to be used in any situation imaginable, but you can also just stick with the default controls & do fine.

Kicking back & watching your minions administer chaos & destruction to everything around you.....nothing like it.

Top 5!

5) Dominator. The control over the fight through the combination of strong damage and control is satifying, with Domination really showing the bosses who's boss is just the icing on the cake.. But there's something missing, I don't know what. Dominators are fun, but they lack the real oomph for me to play them often.

4) SoA. The versitility of the Soldiers combined with their tank-mage attitude attracts me to them, for they have dakka and an iron chin.. But the trudge up to 24 to get to the real meat of the AT is what stops me from having more than 2.

3) Tanker. I like to be a wall to keep my team safe and offer oppertunities for others to really go wild. The problem is getting a team who'll trust me in the first place, and getting to a level that I'm comfortable to tank without worry.

2) Brute. SMASH. I love the concept of a character who is basically a landslide of damage. If Brutes didn't exist, the Scrapper would be here, but the sheer insanity, punishment and FUN of keeping the Fury bar going while staying alive knocks them out of the park (literally.. Knockout Blow! POW! 900 damage!)

1) Blaster. I started out as a Blaster with Beet, I shall end as a Blaster. It's all about the balance of tactics and sheer firepower, both of which you NEED to stay alive as there's little else which will help you. On a team with a Tank? Tough, that aggro is MINE. Those enemies? MINE. Their HP? MINE. Is that Boss chasing me? Pop a couple purples, Aim and Buildup if possible and I'll take them with me! Still alive after? Good, that group over there looked at me funny so they're next, Nuke time!

I am the Blaster, I have filled the role of Tank, Controller and Defender

Masterminds, which is a bit curious as my main is a Corruptor.

Tankers, then Scrapper, then Defenders.

Masterminds, definitely.

Somewhere behind, in second place, Controllers, followed very closely by Scrappers.

I generally don't like seeing my health bar go down; I'm not good in pressure situations.

I like blasters and dominators for the same reasons -- both ATs have a good mix of ranged and melee attacks. I like the variety. I also like that even though both are squishy, you have some means to get around mezzing attacks even if you don't have a break-free handy.

Blueside it is a tie between Scrappers and Blasters, though I haven't tried every combo of the two I am slowly working on it.

Redside i would have to say Corrupters then Masterminds runnning a close second.

I'm very, very fond of my Dominators and my Peacebringer, with their ability to dish out damage both in melee and at range very respectably. I also rather enjoy my 50 Scrapper, but really that's solely because of Shield Charge letting me attack from a distance to great effect and the next scrapper I roll will be Elec/Shield for double the fun. My favorite that I'm working on right now, though, is probably my kin/elec Defender... who really feels like a Dominator to play, with the massive soft controls he throws everywhere combined with his ability to easily cap his own damage.

My first toon (and first 50) is a Dom, and I love her. However, I honestly play every AT like a Scrapper... even the MMs and Trollers. Really, though, I'm not in this game for the powers. I just want to make characters.
