DP for Scrappers/Brutes with only melee range attacks
The ability to mail from Villain to Rogue, from Rogue to Vigilante, from Vigilante to Hero.
All on Guardian
More endgame content and shinies ; that is to say, we should be getting a lot already with the Incarnate system, I just want even more of it.
I'd also like to see content with unique and interesting rewards introduced, with mechanics challenging the buff/debuff stack and high defense/DDR kind of play, but I don't think it'd be good for the game.
For me: Ice Armor and Melee for Brutes/Scrappers/Stalkers. Specifically, Brutes. Please, please, please, may I have my softcapped, fury-driven damage aura rocking, unlimited end, 2 aggro aura, capped HP engine of destruction??

But for the topic, I myself am hoping for a ton of AV fights in GR. Although that's pretty much a given with Praetoria. =D

It has been stated more times than I can count that Ice armor and Ice Melee are NOT going to be proliferated to brutes. Ice's secondary effect is -recharge, and when the enemies can't attack you, you can't build fury very fast at all. And a brute with no fury is like a scrapper with tanker damage.

In truth, the reason Brutes didn't get ice melee/armor in the first place was a combination of things. Original fury needed to be HIT, not just ATTACKED, so a defensive set suffered fury generation. Ice armor/melee compounded the problem further by adding the slows.

I've never seen it stated that it won't be ported. It's been stated the the fury generation thing caused the sets to be dropped from CoV beta - but that isn't the same as saying it definitively won't be done in the future. The devs rarely say something definitively won't be done. I haven't seen ice armor to brutes as one of those things. If you can link a red name saying such - I'd love to see it.
As far as fury generation - dark armor has powers that would reduce fury generation via pbaoe stuns or fears - but it is a brute secondary currently. (edit to remove a misquote.)

vs. a smaller spawn size, one might see less fury. Throw that thing into beta and let's find out.

Last I heard it was the case that brutes would not be seeing Ice anytime soon (ice melee anyway). In a post by Castle, he related that since the slow secondary was mechanically embedded into the melee attacks such that as fury built it would also alter the strength of the slow effect and thus was deemed too powerful. This was stated long before the forum migration and good luck finding it. The devs said they did try.
On topic: IO set diversity extending to purple sets for heals, defense, and resistance. More general sets for ranged AoE, sets with better +rez. SS, stone, em scrap (unlikely, but you said wish).
A lot of stuff is on the horizon, and until that is here I find it difficult to ask for more. I'd rather them stick to perfecting what we have.

Yes, that was ONE of the reasons. It slowed down fury generation, but not any more than Dark Armor, as has been said.
It was NOT, however, because originally Fury needed you to be hit. Otherwise, the replacement for Ice Armor, Energy Armor, would have been no good, either.
The main problem with Ice Melee/Ice Armor was the fact that Ice Melee blew chunks back in I6, especially for Brutes. Frost was a short cone, and Frozen Aura did no damage, it was just a sleep. COMBINE that with low damage output from the other attacks, Ice Patch, and the slows, and then it becomes a problem. It was not the -recharge that was the problem, it just didn't help the bigger problem any.
Ice Melee was bad. It was very, very low damage back then. It was okay for Tankers who wanted a control-heavy set. But for Brutes, the lower damage modifier on top of already low-damage attacks was a big problem.

The secondary effects of the powers isn't tied to Fury at all.

I would love to see Longbow added to heroes as a selectable character type with fully selectable power ranges like the NPC Longbow. I wouldn't mind seeing Paragon Protector's added as an epic archtype either. Energy Blast + Energy Melee + Regen = super fun.

So far my hope is for GR to have the Longbow recongize vigilantes in RI.
It just won't make since if they'll attack you in RI but won't in Paragon. If you're a villain, they should attack you, if you're not they shouldnt.
This will also help with the problem of people saying "Oh, the Longbow just attack me without cause" *mind you I play on Virtue so I RP* And really, that's more a game play mechanic as redside gameplay wise, you're a known villain (whether your concept says you are or not, that's how the game play is).
Now that said, I also hope GR brings with it, rogue contacts in paragon and vigilante contacts in RI.
My rogue may be willing to do some hero work, but, she'd still be a criminal
My vigilante may be a little darker, doesnt mean she's going to kidnap, just means she's willing to go to RI to fight criminals outside of her hero license.

Also, my biggest wish for GR and CoX's future in general is the creation of a *super* tough villain group. The days of "3 minions = 1 hero" are *long* gone (did it really ever exist?) In a world where people can take solo what used to take at least 3 full teams to not even guarantee success (points to Silverado's solo of Kraken), I would *love* to see a group that gives a purple'd out toon a run for his money at +0
Improved Search Function,... like the ability to only look for non-teamed people; the ability to look for villains on a hero and heroes on a villain; Midnighters Club is still missing in the zone search yet Cim is listed twice, why?; ect, ect, ect...
^^On that note, the ability to only search for team leaders and to eliminate players already on teams from searches would be two awesome options.

1) I just want new maps. I hope all future content involves new map sets. Nothing would disappoint me more than going into the new zone and doing missions that have the old warehouse, caves, offices etc maps. It would almost make me cry!
2) I really hope future TFs/SFs are the calibre of the ITF. New maps, factions and a fresh look. There's a reason that TF is probably done more than any other. The old TFs are weak and some just plain suck. Good job on the Posi makeover.
3) No more power prolif. Just make new powers. Something like a munitions set (kinda like CHAMPIONS ONLINE power armour). Gatling gun, shoulder guns/cannons, missiles etc.
4) Our own version of the CO Nemesis system would be cool
Ok, so I don't think any of this is happening with GR but maybe soon after. Sadly, GR seems like it is going to be a bit of shiny new and a lot of the same old. I see those underground creatures look like the zombies we have now with ankle and wrist bracers. Ugh. Make something NEW and FRESH!
To have the Incarnate system be an extension of what we want our characters to be, not to be 'more like the Dev characters.'
No repeat of the Villain Patron Powers, please. If being an Incarnate means getting STATESPOWERS! Or RECLUSEABILIlTIES! they might as well stop working on it as far as I care. I'd rather never get the Incarnate system at all if it's just a matter of hearing, 'our Dev characters and our story arcs are so much more amazing than your characters! now you too can have a little of their glory!'
If I've got an Ice/Psi character, I'd really, really, really, really appreciate it if I could develop her further with that theme in mind. She doesn't need to be more like Galaxy Girl or whoever.

I'm sure I can think of more, but those were the first to pop into my cranium.
Bases need to be more usefull. I mean, let us buy a tailor shop, a merit vender, a mission computer (that has missions: like radio/paper missions). But most important, give us (for a ton of prestige and hard to obtain badges) a danger room. A room that would be like AE w/o rewards, but you can do soft respecs to test out powers. You can then test out power combos and even team work against what ever baddies you like to fight. No rewards would mean no exploits. This is something that would keep me playing this game.
Oh a SG jet... I know... you think it can't be done. It would just be a portal like an ourboro's portal. Clicking it would put you on a "map" that is the inside of the jet. You then select where you want to go. So really no different than Oro, but let is go to any zone.
Adding these kinda things would increase SG numbers. I mean who wouldn't want to join the group with the danger room and the Jet. IMO.

And yes, please - More Targeted AoE sets!! Two uncommon sets, one rare set, a Purple set, and a PVP set... that's not enough! C'mon, at least two more (another uncommon and a rare) would help a whole lot.
I'd like to see other sets for other powers, but he Targeted AoE sets stand out the most for the lack of options....

With the nifty changes that are coming down the pipeline that are streamlining play and improving quality of life with Issue 17, and hints of future cool things leaking (buffs to Grav Control?? oooooh), I thought it'd be neat to see what else people are hoping for/looking forward to as the game enters it's 6th year.
