What the title says. Since we're celebrating 6 fun years, which forum threads, that are not stickies, do you believe have been the best, and if they still exist, will you link them please?

Feel free to comment on any changes the last 6 years have made upon the information in the threads.

Is probably the most legendary thing ever put on a forum. Try saying it out loud. Pronounce the Angries. It's awesome.

By the way, that's STILL a horrible title for a thread.

Well, it was better then the "What my eight year old learned from Troy Hickman".

The answer being "Chris Hansen can make the bad man go away."

By the way, I always enjoy the Heroes weekly threads.

Troy Hickman - So proud to have contributed to and played in this wonderful CoH universe

They're still happening? I thought they stopped that near the end of season 3.

In my opinion every thread that was ever written for the sole purpose of thanking the Devs for this fantastic game instantly qualify as "Best Thread" level.

My mind wanders so often you've probably seen its picture on milk cartons. - Me... the first person version of the third person Steelclaw

This might sound strange, but...
Before I ever played this game, I would occasionally browse these forums.
I don't recall what originally led me here, but what I found was good enough to make me come back now and then...

And I found this thread (I think it may even have been stickied eventually)... I cannot remember the title of it, I hope someone remembers...

The OP was about how every time they post, they kill the thread (People no longer post in it).

It became the thread that never dies.

I thought it was both such a beautiful thing and a very humorous thing.

I'm pretty sure I found it through the Dev Tracker, no less.

Another thread that I found before playing that I would nominate would be one the generic thread where someone posted everything in a third person sample of what would be a typical post...
Which was followed by an equally clever reply done in the same fashion, which was replied to similarly, and so on and so on and so on...
When a Dev responded with the same style and wit... I knew I would be playing this game one day.

While going through the nightmare of SOE and the SWG debacle... I used to visit these forums and enjoyed my time here so much. It was sort of like getting out of the house and spending time with a really super cool family... wishing my household could be the same.
I'm very glad to have been adopted into it now.
(Even if I had to pay my way in... Wow, bad analogy!!)

So, anyways... If anyone can find those threads and/or remember their names, I'd be very grateful!

(Also, some great suggestions already that I agree with!)

Ah... thought of another one...

Any thread where Dark_Respite announces her latest video.

You'll be glad to know, then, that on Friday you'll be getting another one.

One more vote for the Rude Tell thread.
You'll find some idiots, some geniuses, some blindchicks, and some awesome people. Oh and plenty of laughs.

Another vote for "What my 6 Year Old Learnt...".

The poster is most likely unaware of it but I read that thread before I became a father and it was one of the few things that reassured me that I was going to be ok as a dad. I look forward to my daughter getting old enough to maybe follow in Sister Flame's footsteps.

And whenever I get the inevitable 'healer' tell on my Defenders, I turn to Dead Calm's Defender Manifesto:

Still makes me laugh even now.

Huh, I never knew that there was a Defender manifesto before I wrote mine. Probably because he didn't put it in the Defender forum...
