  1. It's been years, but one that stands out was a tall female character whose "assets" were maxed out and was wearing as little clothing as the game allows. The name was Obviously Male.

This is the one I was going with, too...especially the photoshop thread.
  3. I'm looking forward to the server events. While I plan on having a good time regarless of what the devs have cooked up for us, part of me would really like to see an invasion of the 'enemies' in the new hero/villain arcs. That would be some chaotic fun.

How on earth can you be a happy camper without a backpack?

Same here. I used all 7 free slots on Pinnacle, and I'm about to finish up 50 #19. I need room for two or three GR characters, and I refuse to buy slots. Yes, I'm that cheap.
  6. Also, for you mouse/keyboarders out there, pullng your camera view back all the way makes the twitch reflexes more responsive.
  7. OK, so who's going to be the first to remake the Reservoir Dogs video with Little Green Bag playing in the background?

aye, which is stupid. Everything is after 35.

It's 15-30ish that's the real slog for me, because there's not really a lot of cool stuff. Easy enough to get to 10-early teens, and after 30 it seems to fly in quite quick on the 2 toons that I've got that have made it that far. More interesting things in the middle would be better.

    [/ QUOTE ]

See i find 15 - 30 starting to get a bit overcrowded for me personally content wise. 30 - 45 is the content slog for me.
    It's usually 30-40 for me.

We do, but it's not on these forums and only I have access to it.

So far, I'm not getting a lot of quality suggestions.

  10. Mission name: Positron Revisited
    Arc ID: Live ID# - 1671
    Morality: Heroic
    Length: Long (3 Missions)
Description: A new take on the Positron TF.
What you were drinking when this was created?: Probably coffee.

    Mission name: High School Reunion
    Arc ID: Live ID# - 1427
    Morality: Heroic
    Length: Very Short (1 Mission)
Description: You're a hero now. Those high school bullies can't hurt you anymore. Here's your chance to rewrite the memories you've tried so hard to forget.
What you were drinking when this was created?: Grape juice (I was sick)

*edited to add Live ID #s
  11. Arc Name: Positron Revisited
    14685
    Heroic
    Length: Long
3 missions: 1 EB in first mission; EB/AV in 2nd mission

This is a different take on the Posi TF. My melee characters don't have much difficulty with it, but I've yet to try it on squishier characters.

I was sitting in my office wondering how I was going to make it through the last hour of work. The chuckle I got from this is just what I needed. Thank you, kind sir!

Well I don't know who did the voice, but it was close enough to sounding like it shoulda started with "Hi...I'm Troy McClure! You might remember me from other City of Heroes training videos such as 'Go. Hunt. KillSkulz!' and 'How did I get in this blue cavern when I went in an office building?'"

For the love of jelly beans.

It's a freakin internet message forum.

    Get over yourselves.

The moderation of these boards is in no way comparable, in any shape or form, to being enslaved or fighting some big human rights battle.

This[1] is private property. If we want to play here, we have to follow their rules.

Whether you consider it their house, or their store, it makes no difference. They are the ones that set the rules. We are the ones that (are supposed to) follow them.

One thing that always turns me off to going to Warburg in CoH when Im leaving a toon in the 40-50 range...it takes so long to get there from pi. And my 50 is parked in the Hive, so thats a long hike too. This is one thing that was well done about CoV...all the gates to the PvP zones are in the according PvE zone.

Is there anyway we could do one of the following...

    1. Make an enterance to RV in pi
    2. Make a gate that takes us to atlas from pi
    3. Move the RV enterance alltogether

Another complaint about having it in Atlas is lag, especially near the statue. Its like putting it in Talos.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Ever try Base Teleporter Pads?

    [/ QUOTE ]
ok to defend the OP on this... I'm not sure how you have a level 50 tank and not know that the Telepads in COH are crap compared to the Pads in COV. We have way more zones then they do, and our telepads only go to zones that are really crappy. Yeh you can TP to the hollows to get to Atlas, but what about the return trip? Villians can use thier pads to go to every non PVP zone. I think heroes should be able to as well.

    Base --> Crey's Folly --> Crash Site --> PI

i am still crshing when i enter/exit recluse's victory, happens when it enters the loading screen, then have to restart my pc cause it bugs my pc out from the crash =/

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yes, I am too. Even after turning ALL graphics options to the MINIMUM allowed by the program...it loads to 1/5th or 1/4th...then my video driver stops responding! Really hope I7 won't do this too

    {Edit} This is happening from both Hero AND Villain sides!{/edit}

    {2nd Edit} This also includes starting the program for a toon who tried to zone to (and presumably is in) Recluse's Victory: when choosing that toon, the bar does the same progress, then WHAMMO{/2nd edit}

    [/ QUOTE ]

This was a regular occurrence for many people in the early stages of CoV beta. Hang in there...they'll fix it!

I highly, highly douby Issue Six is going to be about a schizophrenic serial killer. Your Google-fu sucks.

However, the name implies the surfacing of the dormant villain group SPIDER (which does in fact still exist in the world of CoV) in Paragon City.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I wasn't implying that I6 was about a serial killer. I get the obvious reference to Lord Recluse and Arachnos. I was just pointing out that the "crappy movie" Along Came a Spider was based on a very good book.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
I thought it was a dumb name at first because it reminded me of that crappy movie, but it actually fits somewhat better than "The Itsy-Bitsy Spider"... Or does it?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Dude, read a book every once in a while...
  23. I too would rather quantums/voids not be in the ambush waves. Other than that, I'm enjoying the updates
  24. Best of luck to you. You'll be missed.
  25. Basically, it's always been like this. For example, let's say you take a mission at lvl 23, yet you wait until 28 to finish it. Why would you even want the lvl 23 SO (except to sell)?

Here's what I usually do. If I'm nearing the end of an arc and I'm also close to leveling, I don't bother actually ACCEPTING the mission until the next level. That way, I can make sure I don't outlevel the spawn. Your situation is a bit different because you WANT to outlevel the spawn. Remember...risk = reward. Therefore, No Risk should = No reward.
