Yes, I wholeheartedly agree with this, you can make some badges account wide, even 5 or 6 of the AE badges are, isn't it time you just did that little bit of extra coding for a huge QoL improvement for those of us that have over 100 toons

On the one hand, yay! That all sounds awesome. \o/

On the other, I really hope I17 is going to be ready and you aren't pushing too hard to hit the April deadline for Demon Summoning. If that Auction House bug makes it over from test to live, and everything listed in the AH vanishes, then it really is going to be a memorable anniversary. Oooh, yes.

Ditto on the AE 'interesting features' which don't seem to have had any improvements made since Closed Beta.

I imagine they want to have the tech to be able to award badges based on when a character was created rather than just a blanket addition to all characters.

The character I created yesterday does not deserve the past anniversary badges that my other characters got. She will get a sixth anniversary badge, but she shouldn't get any of the others.

One thing I like about anniversary badges is that they sort of track what year your character was created.

All that being said, yeah I'd love for the anniversary badges to be global!

And....when i17 goes live I will finally see if the input delay problem is just on the test server...in which case its well for me for the GR Closed Betas, but even more of a if its not, as the game will be unplayable then.

yes i really enjoyed the getting of the pvp zone badges without going to the zones
the only real problem from last year that i remember is as it was unannounced, a lot of people missed it and due to it only being a 1 day thing some people missed it as they only get on weekends

Even making it an "all-day" thing as opposed to only a "prime-time" thing would be better. I work nights, so I'm always "out of the loop" on stuff like this.

Oh yeah, and not to nitpick, but will the times in the OP be an hour off because everyone ELSE in the country is on DST? There is no EST in the summer, it's EDT.

Same here.

I didn't get around to choosing a badger until a couple years ago, so mine has the interesting dilemma of having all the anniversary badges except the 2nd. I wanna kick myself for forgetting to long that one in that year.

Hmm, not sure which Devs I'll be able to catch on the EU servers. Its a pity Warwitch and Doc Aeon are on 5-6, because thats the time my net is most likely to be idiotic and not let me log in, despite the fact I should be able to log in after 5pm.
And they are the two I want to talk to most =/

I started in July 2004 and intend to add another anniversary badge to my previous 5!

For some weird reason, my badger does not have the first aniversary badge. I know he was around for the anniversary, but I guess I forgot to log in with him. I was probably a bit overwhelmed with everything since I was a fairly new player (I'd only been playing a month before the first anniversary). And believe it or not, I only have one character with the first anniversary badge that's still around.

Disagreed here. It's nice to have something to distinguish my 5 year old characters from the ones just made last week. I like having the anniversary badges as something you had to be there to get. Also don't mind logging my whole stable in once per year; I need to do that to get them their day job badge too anyway now.

There's plenty of badges that represent how long the player has been in the game. All the veteran badges for instance show you were there for those years as a player. But characters who have been around and active for years on end deserve to be special by having the anniversary badges.
