This crazy old wizard is 40, but after moving into our new house over the last 3 days i feel about 65.
I team with a lady once who said she was mid 60's. This was a couple of years ago, though.

26 here, I've been trying to find an old article (I can't remember if it was on Gamespot or PC Gamer) that stated that this game and Eve Online had the highest average of players over 21, with Eve having by far the highest of the two.
all the friends I bought the game with way back when are in our mid 40's now.

I'm only 18, and out of the people I've teamed with, I believe that most of them were either in their thirties, or younger whiny kids.
However, my dad is almost fifty and he still plays.
On the flip side, my eight and nine year old brothers both play as well. They have since they were each four (obviously at different times).
This game is so awesome. It shows us again and again that people from any age group or cultural group can sit down and play with almost anyone else.
This is the best thread ever!
I don't feel so alone-ish anymore, even though as was stated previously, my mental age keeps me hopping along with the "younger" crowd.
I'll be 39 this year and most of the people I play with are in their 20's, so I was, in the beginning at least, feeling like the old man on the lawn at times.
This game does have the feel to me as if it was made by people of my generation and is sort of geared towards us in a way. Makes it feel home-y. Probably why I likes it so much. =P
Keep doing what you all are doing and keep feeling as young as you want to!

Yes. I can get lost on a straight-line map.
43 here. Most of my CoH friends are around my age. I love that this game appeals to such a wide range of people.

I'm 43 and regularly team with a 46 and a 35. Then there's my global SG, where the people can act pretty silly, from time to time, but I suspect that even the silliest ones are... mature individuals. And I'm fairly certain that the ones that act Most mature, are not all that old.
My own sense is that Playing keeps you young... not unlike a certain Twilight Zone episode.

I knew there was a reason I enjoyed teaming in this game more than any other MMO I've tried. I'm 44 and every other Friday night this room is packed with computers and two of my mates (45 and 39) team with myself and my 16 year old son. And we have a blast. 
I'm 56 and I too have had a life long love of comics and science fiction . Not sure if I have lived a regular life . Been married for 34 years this year and raised two kids.
48 in june. At least 7 members of our VG are in their 40's

Quick calculate.
Based on 52 confessions here (me being #52 with 31 years):
Average age is 39.8.
Standard Deviation: 15.7
44 here, and one of the things I love is hearing the routine of life mixed in with play - parents tending kids, grown adults dealing with parents and other relatives, the whole deal. Very enjoyable.
40 here, but I regularly team with a woman thats got the OP beat by a few years.
