I only do the trials once or twice every time I play. I don't even have the luxury of playing them on different characters since I only have one level 50. Guess what, I don't burn out. You know why? Because I'm not crazy enough to repeat ad naseum something which I don't enjoy doing.

Ugh, yes. It boggles the mind how the only way to justify the trials was adding a new mysterious character to tell us what to do, as if we don't already have enough of those standing around with their arms crossed.

I mean couldn't they have had Lady Grey organize the trials as part of the counter-offensive in the war? We had to have a giant smurf descend from Olympus to guide us on our way?

Hell, they could even had us organize the trials, as if our characters decided on their own volition to organize themselves into several teams and go over to the other side to take on the praetorians; I mean, we even just appear outside Lambda and the BAFT, no group drops us off. the voice-over could just have been the omnipresent narrator.

However, I do agree with your post entirely.
I find Judgement to be somehow even harder to fit into ma character's concept than Lore. I can force myself to hand-wave away that a robot or praetorian soldier somehow appears out of thin air to follow me around, but I just can't explain myself why - to use some examples from my alt list - a gun-toting psychic would fire ice or fire blasts from her hands or why a katana-wielding vigilante would shoot a ricocheting bolt of whatever.

There needs to be more variety in Judgment, more so than in Lore. At least one more power to represent sheer strength and another one that uses a weapon animation or something, anything to make it more palatable for natural characters and such.

You don't have to agree with anybody who likes what you don't and they don't have to agree with you. People that hate the incarnates, the endgame content and/or the raids keep pussyfooting around trying to do logical somersaults to avoid the harsh, simple but obvious answer: If you don't like it, don't do it. There's your advice.

Are you honestly trying to make us believe that +4 ITFs don't happen? At least half of all the ITFs I've ever done were +4 and they were all on PUGs. And they all had faceplanting, and each had moments of awesome and they all took more than half an hour and they were glorious.




Let me ask something to the anti-multi-group crowd. Have you done any of the new trials? And spare me the 'I don't need to jump off the roof to know I won't like it!' BS, grow a pair and answer the question.

Like they've already said, the full issue is on the beta server. Also, I doubt they're keeping some surprises like free costumes hidden until the issue goes live.

If they were planning on giving us free costumes or anything else people have been clamoring for months they would be singing it to the four winds. 'By popular demand! 3 new tights skins! New power customization!' That's hype that you just can't walk away from.

This is pretty much my thought on the subject as well. At the very least they should include some extra tights patterns, faces or generic chest symbols to the Issues. It's not like people are asking for the moon and the stars when it comes to costume choices.

I'd rather deal with a 'legion of morons' than one ********* of a teamleader.
