I'm fairly sure that the Angry Angels on Virtue has been around since launch, But I do know the founder of them is still in charge.

Also The People's Vanguard has been around since then, but is now for the most part defunct, a few original members still do log on from time to time.

Northern task force on Freedom has been around since launch or very soon after (was certainly well established when I joined in July 04). It only has one active member outside of free reactivation weekends (not me, I have toons there but never play on Freedom atm).

Eurocore on Victory has been around since launch (several met in the beta) and is still active. One of our leaders has been in the SG since 2004 (I didn't join till much later).

F.O.E on Defiant villains have been around since launch too. I wasn't the original super leader but a member back then.

The original leader dropped to play some other MMO game with lots of orcs who like to eat meat...

Having said that only of a few of the founders are still around, but everybody seems happy

Well, same with ours--it just took us a while to grind to level 10.

Not quite since launch but the Paragon Taxi Service, or as most know us the Taxibots, have been around since October 2004. At one time active on all servers but the biggest garages, as we refer to our bases, are Virtue and Infinity these days. Several of the founding members are still quiet active on Virtue. The introduction of raptor packs sort of left us with a lot less work to do but here on Virtue we now run Task Forces and use our teleport skills to assist heroes in badging and leveling.

The Dark Knights of the Abyss were formed at the launch of CoV. I was one of the founding members, and the only one left.

It's a shame that there's no in-game mechanism to find the date that your supergroup was established.

The Paragon Defense League (on Virtue) was established shortly after launch. And yeah, I'm still the leader, though with a different toon.

Liberty League on Virtue has been around since launch. A couple of the original leaders are still in contact with us, pop in from time to time, and may come back for GR, but the current leadership is made up of people who joined the League in late 2004 and early 2005.

We're not very active right now. We're made up almost entirely of people who have been playing since launch or near it, so I think we're all pretty tired of the existing content. I'm pretty excited about I17, the new arcs, and the new Positron TF, but I don't think that will be enough to entice some members to come back/play more. I'm hoping Going Rogue will change that.

The Justice Force has been active since May 31st, 2004 on the Champion server, and are currently ranked #31 on the Top 100 Prestige earning SGs for the server. The JF has been under my leadership since the beginning and has always been active with many members fighting crime in Paragon City.

o.o Legion of Catgirls, original made on Justice in the second or third week of issue 0, then expanded to all other servers in either i0 or i1. One of the three original leaders is still around and we have a number of players (all officers by this point) from 2004 still around too..

<.< our villain equivalent, Feline Dominion was also made on about half the servers within a week or so of CoV launch.

^^;; currently, we primarily operate out of Guardian with random amounts on freedom, liberty and virtue.

Alpha Team on Pinnacle, I'm one of the leaders and we've been around since 2005. We were always a small SG but while numbers have dwindled, we've got still got the core players skulking around.

Pinnacle & Virtue:
A bunch of Heroes - Alpha Team, Legion of Order.
A bunch of Villains -Black Citadel , Pinnache.

I'm no longer a part of it, and I wasn't a founder, (aside from 'joining' while they were on the beta boards, before the game came out) but The Canadian Shield is still sort of around on Virtue.

So what SG’s have been around since launch, and are any still led by the same people? Please speak up and let me know!
Is this question limited to the US servers?

If not, then the Darkwings (Union) have been around since a day or so after EU Launch, and still have the same two idiots in charge (me being one of them). Oh, and the Talons of Darkness (Union) have been around since a day or so after CoV launch. Same two idiots in charge.

To be honest, the SG's are in a holding pattern and largely filled with our alts, but they're still 'active'. Ish.

In the EU Beta, InnerCircle was founded on Defiant. I was one of the original leaders.
When the EU went live it was founded again and I am still in the leader position.

Myself and Mrs ? are reviving the SG even now.

The Schulls VG on Victory was founded on 10-29-05 and I am one of the originals. Alas it has kind of gone the way of Bill Z Bubba's SG, but my fiancee and I hope to start a revival soon!
