  1. Definitely A for me. B looks too much like the Rocketeer's pack. Looks damn good, don't get me wrong, but that's all I see when I look at it. I don't like looking at my characters and thinking they remind me of established characters. Maybe if B were a little more different. Just my 2 cents.
  2. B with C's shoulders, or C with B's gloves. But they are all cool.
  3. I am of the mind that a rifle should be a two handed weapon. The only one here that looks like a two handed 'rifle' to me is B. The others look like pistols.
  4. Okay... I don't post as often here as I would like so forgive the post from the quiet guy. However, I have ZERO difficulties with my stalkers. They have no endurance issues at all, great damage, and they can usually one shot a lvl 54 on a trial. I don't play them like scrappers, and I tend to very carefully choose not only my fights, but the order in which I attack opponents on missions.

Now, don't get me wrong, I don't number crunch so I don't know the figures and averages, but I don't approach this game from that standpoint either. I tend to focus on playing with what I am given. And honestly, I have no problem with my stalkers or how they play. What I DO see is people playing as if they were scrappers and THAT WILL give you problems and get you taken out quickly. I can solo the Alpha mission where you take on the Honoree and the other character whose name escapes me at the moment. I find that with stalkers, more than any other AT, your tactics and strategies are vitally important. And that is how it SHOULD be...

a stalker is a lone operative that survives on his own and cannot just wade into mobs like a tank or scrapper cuz he aint one. Sorry, don't mean to sound preachy, but the main problem I encounter with people complaining about their stalkers is that they just wont play them like they should or could, and them complain that stalkers don't play the way they want them to play.

Sorry, just my opinion from my own experiences.
  5. I C O N S on Victory server with the same core group of members is still active.
  6. Regarding the Spines on the huge frame and mostrous legs and feet.

The spines along the back on the huge frame are floating just above skin level. Not terribly bad, but quite noticeable.

However, the spines on the monstrous legs and feet are horribly misaligned and extremely noticeable.
  7. On Halloween night of '06, there was a frigg'n FANTASTIC party with the Devs in Pocket D on the test server. Does anyone know if another is being planned for this year what with the holiday being on a Saturday this year?
  8. Can someone tell me if PARAGON or NCSoft will ever make an appearance at DragonCon in Atlanta Ga? There is a MASSIVE (and I DO mean MASSIVE) City of Heroes/MMORPG/Comic fan and player base every year at this thing. And DragonCon is NOT some small, unheard of, local, niche convention.

An awful lot of us last year were really disappointed in their absence while so many other game companies were there and represented. Even CHAMPIONS online had devs there. Well, there WAS a TINY panel of about maybe 5 people (Fans) there holding a fairly uninformative CoX Q&A (since they couldn't really speak for the devs, I understand that) that gave away some swag (T.Rasa sets and Lineage trials). Otherwise it was just a room full of rabid info starved gamers left wondering why the CoH buffet was unmanned and empty.

C'mon devs, we're just as valid of a venue! I DO understand ComicCon is friggin COMICON and PAX is PAX! If I could, I'd have made my pilgrimage to both! However, both are FAR beyond my current means and DragonCon is nothing to sneeze at either. It ranks up in the top 5 of its kind in the US!

    Don't believe the hype?

    ...sigh...

Off the soapbox now. Just been really wondering and hadda ask.
  9. Psi/Psi

Slot them right, and the attack strings are positively devastating.
I have had players mistake them as repeating booms.
    Yes...
Slot them right, string them together, and you DO, in fact, have one incredibly powerful blaster.
  10. Grrrrrrreetings to ya Sunstorm and welcome on board!
