Two Tickets To Westerly - 374002


While patrolling in Kings Row, you see her. Trashy outfit, smeared makeup, unkempt hair; just another Skulls Girlfriend, you think. You're about to pass her by when she starts waving to you. "Please! I need help!" she pleads. "My boyfriend...I think he's in trouble."


PW's arc shows that not all people who are seen as "bad" are necessarily bad. Which I think is a great thing. Do you know how hard it is to try to get rid of the "evil mad scientist" label that society puts on you? It's not easy, not even for a person as brilliant as myself.

Enough about me. PW tells a terrific story of the small struggle of a member of the Skulls who wants to make a new life for himself and his girlfriend. Playing through this arc will definitely make you think twice about beating down that Skull and his girlfriend - maybe the two of them are also seeking to make a new life. Who're you, as a hero (who may think I'm evil) to go beat them in the face? It's also a great arc for new characters to play through and helps to establish the Skulls as a more in-depth group.

Bad Voodoo by @Beyond Reach. Arc ID #373659. Level 20-24. Mr. Bocor has fallen victim to a group of hooded vigilantes who have been plaguing Port Oakes, interfering with illegal operations and pacifying villain's powers. He demands that revenge is taken on these miscreants and his powers are returned! You look like just the villain for the job. Challenging.

Thanks very much to everyone! I'm very psyched.

Thanks in particular to everyone who playtested and gave feedback: Wrong Number, Tangler, Phantom Patriot, airhead, ArrowRose, StratoNexus, Sister Twelve, Peregrine Falcon, konshu, GlaziusF, the crew from AEntertainment Tonight, and anyone else who gave this arc a try. Your constructive criticism made this arc much, much better than when I first published it.

Thanks to Dr. Aeon for holding fun contests and events that encourage participation in AE, and for putting up with my villain threatening to extract his spleen.

And...yay for another arc slot to write a new story in!

Yay, congrats PW, this was a great story. Also, for entirely selfish reasons I'm happy you get a new arc slot. That means more of your stories for us to play. All of your stuff has been great.
