Which I really wish they'd do more with. It's a pretty nifty concept, but it has very, very little visibility in the game beyond the difficulty adjusters and a few contacts.

Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

This, a million times this. Sefu is probably my favorite supporting character (he's a great character, not such a great in-game foe).

I don't have the all-out hatred for Longbow that so many players, especially villain specialists, seem to have, either, so that helps. Instead, I tend to feel sorry for characters written as antagonists; I feel like the author is pushing them around.

Dammit, I wanted to do that.

Anyways, I like Sefu, as well. We laughed, we cried, and then after cigarettes, he made himself scarce. What a gentleman.

it was the only time I felt justfied using about ten "rage" inspirations. and it just got worse when I remembered that Nemesis is a racist, too (see Tina Mckintyre)

Fixed, for a more heroic approach

I sure didn't. And yes, even on my "heroic" heroes, I mean alive, not unarrested. Torque off an emotional character like Kid Eros or a forthright one like the Knight of Gears, and you get a terrifying whirlwind of destruction.

Capt. Dietrich's speech in that mission, along with Wretch's at the end of "Oh, Wretched Man," had me tearing up a little . . . yeah, I'm like that . . . :P Anyway, it's that speech that makes me not hate Dietrich as much as most people seem to.

*Even though she thinks great-uncle Stephan can be saved... and Dominatrix, too. There's a little multiple-storyteller fight going on about her attitude toward villains.
They should have let Troy Hickman have the controls. I vote for his take on all CoH matters.

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."

It went down like this:

[Tell]<-@Sefu: I tell you, my friend, I'm never going to get my Infiltrator badge hanging out in the Rikti Warzone. I've gotten 'Zookeeper' ten times over, the OLD way, but I haven't seen a Protector out here since before Vanguard moved in.
[Tell]->@Sefu: I thought you had Infiltrator and the freeze gun already. Didn't we take you to do Manti?
[Tell]<-@Sefu: You're thinking of my alt, Sefu Ninedaji. He's the Spines/Regen Warden rather than the Ballista.
[Tell]->@Sefu: D'oh! Tell you what: I was kinda thinking of going for 'Redeemed', but I don't want to go through the idiot confuse farming business in Bloody Bay. How about you 'bust' me for Longbow for a few missions, and I'll get you an coalie invite to my SG so you can use the teleporter to Eden to get the explores and all the Paragon Protectors you need for 'Conspiracy Theorist'? You need the other explores?
[Tell]<-@Sefu:That sounds awesome!
[Tell]<-@Sefu:No, I got those back before they closed the door to Crey's Folly and locked me in here.

This thread remionds me of my MMs first encounter with a Balista. It went like this:

*drops Tar Patch under Balista*
"Go my minions! Go! Leave no hero stan-"
*minions come flying past me*
"Oh sh-"
*faceplant*

Yes. The Watcher's mission briefing indicates that Lt. Sefu is an ally again, proving that everything was indeed patched up, just as I said.

What happens to him in that arc doesn't change that.

Hey, all the more important that you got to make your peace with Lt. Sefu while there was still time.

Heh, heh, what a kidder, that Troy... *hustles him out of the room*

And apparently now I have to find Endora and have her lift the spell... but I don't think she will EVER stop calling Troy "Darwin," though...

Does he still con as a boss? I remember one team we had where I rolled the mouse over his Health Bar. "Holy crap, he's got 1000s of HP, he's no boss".

IIRC he is EB with AV's HP

It's like the devs were trying to make the most stupidly and unnecessarily frustrating boss fight of all time.

Actually, unless my brain's breaking down or something, I pretty sure he conned as a Hero when I fought him a week or so ago.

He could (should?) by now, hopefully. My experiences were from about 12 months ago or so.

It was funny fighting him though, 8 people whaling on him. "Hey, why isn't his health bar moving much. He's an EB. His shields can't be *that* good can they" *checks his health* "Oh right. Hey guys, this chap seems to be an AV"

He's a full blown AV mislabelled as an EB

The RWZ arcs are some of my favorite in game, very powerful storytelling. I like repeating them and they're now part of my SG's canon. Sooner or later a friend and I will be writing up this arc in the RP section.

Lt. Sefu Tendaji is a friend, WMD... we're not exchanging Christmas cards. And I love fighting rogue Vanguard.
