I see what you did there

I think the purpose of Coles Bio is to spark the kind of back and forth that you and I are about to start. Is it tyranny to expect absolute loyalty for absolute prosperity?

Our Hami just kinda sits in the hive and doesnt do anything unless you get to close and doesn't leave the zone ever, no threat really. The thing is fairly peaceful and only attacks things that get close so why bother.

It would seem pretoria Hami had a thrist for world domination. It had to be dealt with.

Why accept it's existance when his minions are still kidnapping and converting innocent people into Devoured? Destroy Hami and the rest of the puppets fall soon their after.

Definitely not if we go by their ingame avatars. The Tyrant AV we fight in Maria's arc is significantly weaker than the Statesman we fight in Mender Silos SF (or the PI Mayhem)

I think we have to assume everything about the current Tyrant in-game is about to change. Look at the Reichsman, that guy is a powerhouse!

Hold up. Isn't he an Incarnate?

I was very impressed with this bio; nicely villainous while still having lots of admirable characteristics. I particularly like the way the emphasis is on the fantastic aspects of the setting (Cole himself, the DE, Praetorian Clockwork, etc.) rather than the ones derived from reality; it looks like he's much more nuanced and fantastical than that, two things that are pretty difficult to achieve in combination.

Also, the prominent role given to MacArthur reminds me, we need corncob pipes as costume pieces. (Yes, I've requested it in the costume request thread. )

Incarnates get their power from the Well of the Kindly Ones, which is a magical artifact and power source, so how is that a contradiction?

Primal Earth Hamidon has manifested quite a bit differently than the Praetorian version. He appears to be more distributed through the earth in our world. The giant amoeba thing is apparently more of an avatar or nexus of sorts than a true embodiment. The Praetorian Hamidon was more aggressive and sounds like it was more of a central embodiment in the form of the Mega-Devoured/Cloverfield-ish creature. Still, if we poke our Hamidon enough maybe he'll go on a rampage and consolidate into a mega beastie as well, which would be awesome.

Part of the bio near the end seemed to imply that part of what people know may be false and that he's not as good as he's made out to be. Plus, it seems like he plans to go as far as to invade our dimension which isn't an admirable quality.

As far as strength comparisons, I think the biggest "weakness" with Statesman is that his no killing stance makes him hold back by default, essentially the Superman problem. If States singlehandedly knocked down the RWZ mothership, then he's plenty strong in his own right.

That is indeed both a weakness and a strength though isnt it in regard to states.

To me, Tyrants empire reminds me a lot of manticore and his struggles with which side of the law hes on. No matter what his agenda is now though, think we can all agree that originally, Tyrant was indeed one of the good guys saving the world. However where he was hidden too after the area got nuked remains to be seen.
Seems that his attidude to combat changed drastically after that incident . . . . . .

I had the same reaction when I first saw the concept art for Praetorea in the theatrical trailer (at the 1 minute mark). If the actual zone ends up looking like the art in that trailer, Paragon City will look like a slum in comparison.

Manticore has never had issues with which side of the law he's on, except in an altered timeline fixed by the Menders of Ouroboros.

Edit: Okay, he's shot States before. But he didn't do it because he was evil.

Think about it.
That thought crossed my mind as well. I suspect this might be the subject of a story arc when GR goes live.

Really? I thought he used Super Strength attacks. Though it's hard to tell with some attacks, as there is some overlap.

It doesn't help that Statesman himself has Super Strength and other powers too (want that lightning groundstrike myself, heh).
